That is the way the right wing cult works. "Forget what we said before. We are now saying something different, and we now believe something different.

Like the debt ceiling. The debt is only a crisis when there is a Democratic President. It doesn't matter that the debt was racked up largely by the previous Republican President.
No... If a Republican is in the White House, immediate vote to raise the debt ceiling. No questions asked. NO mention of any concern for the debt ceiling.

If a Democrat is in the White House, that Democrat's "reckless spending" MUST be reigned in!

Trump admitted it completely in his Town Hall on CNN.

The debt ceiling is one of those GOP tricks to prevent any real changes at all that they can't strip away as soon as they get the chance.

The debt ceiling is clearly unconstitutional and confuses low information voters. They conflate debt with appropriations.
Conversations about what we are spending, are by design, supposed to happen in the budget and appropriations process. Once that process is complete, no matter how it turns out, we have bills to pay and need to pay them, however we can.

It is astounding, what a complete disaster. Durham will fade into the background as fast he can.

This article illustrates the entire Bill Barr weaponization of the DOJ, which led to the hiring of Durham, on orders from Trump.

Hold on, I just got to the part where Dems made an effort to obliterate the "confidence of the American people in [Trump's] administration.

That's just funny to me. The only person I thought was obliterating the people's confidence in his administration was Trump himself. And here I thought all those pussy hats were worn in protest from even before day one, and that Trump TOTALLY made a clusterfuck of the whole COVID thing. He was just a publicity whore with a captive audience, when we needed to hear how bad shit could get, and then how our wonderful president was gonna get us through it. Has anyone done a Google search to see how many people went to the ER cuz of shit Trump said, and not from the actual virus?

The Durham Report is partisan bullshit. In a time where partisan bullshit is just so... pedestrian. You'd think that Durham would've spoken to Congress about his findings during the process of Trump's first impeachment.
