Pretty sure we heard it first on Jon Stewart's The Weekly Show podcast, since that's where it originated. I'm that interview, AOC didn't name names, but we know that many politicians are corrupt already. Such corruption, in either party, is why laws should be made to protect voters from the possibility of it. Laws like that emoluments thing.

Dude. No. That same video is on TimTok too. It's not like some kinda leaked secret footage. That was from a podcast. The proper response would be to pass legislation against insider trading among Congress members (and their spouses at least). I don't think Congress would actually pass such legislation, but it would be fun to see who would be against it.

I never said otherwise. There are Democrats that do just that That was me tuoned in the video. It was also mentioned in the video that Republicans do it too, and that Dems can't do that and still claim to care about the people. I haven't disagreed with the actual video you posted. Only the original source of that video. You claim it came from X, but it didn't originate there. So that was a lie. Nobody hacked a private Zoom between Jon Stewart and AOC. That was a vlip from his podcast. His interview with AOC is worth watching in full, if you are into that sort of thing.

I haven't heard anything about Fauci lately other than Trump took away his security detail. Trump became president in 2017 though, so mI don't really see a point in passing the buck to Fauci. Really, what that tells me is that neither the sitting president at the time (Trump) or the Congress had any oversight or direct knowledge of wtf Fauci was doing. That would be concerning, huh?
