Oh be warned, never ask a historian to tell you history. I ll try to force the urge to drown you in Bavarian history waters here. It's the SE bump on the German map reaching out to Austria and Bohemia aka Czech republic, independent from past-Roman to 1866 or 1918 or 1990 when we lost the last relics of state sovereignty. We are the highlanders over here, having (had) our own royals (part Stuart btw), own flag, own hymn, own lingo, own (mostly unlucky) army (- really bad choices of allies) and police (unlucky shots in '23), own football clubs, were successful in shipping our maddest weirdoes over the pond where their descendants do their most possible damage now.

A historian? I will definitely be picking your brains in the future. In general when it comes to knowing fuck all about History, or anything, the American's top all those lists and the UK is about a notch below them.

You Germans, not Joseph Goebbels obviously, make some good TV shows. My favourites so far are Tribes of Europa only bested by Dark which few shows, if any, will ever best. I always watch them in German.

Recently I have been trying to learn about middle Europe, their ideology, the why of it all, and fuckjobs like Putin. In general most of the UK knowledge your neck of the woods is pretty much zilch

Still quiet in here I see. I will see if I can come up with a couple of okay threads for here, but you ladies shouldn't expect much from me, and you will still be disappointed. Yes he tried to copy Mussolini's March on Rome (Mussolini didn't tell he let others do the marching...) but the March on Berlin went only round one street corner from the Bürgerbräu to the Feldherrnhalle where police waited for the marchers. But since these had no US gun training they missed, just got Göring's leg.

Not that many marched Rome you know. I reckon it was less than 50k?

Yes the number of blackshirts marching on Rome at least went to something x-k while Adolf's March on Berlin gathered about some dozens... well, marching on Berlin from Munich as such was an exqusitely stupid idea considering distance ... I wouldn't consider a March on London starting at Dundee a bright idea as well, even without any political intentions, well, shoemakers would rejoice maybe.

Yes the "masters" have been been even more silent on their Ask a .... thread than the lasses. Was this the result of the Covid and break loss, I wonder, when so many vanished, or have they fallen into the no more approval limbo? I always wonder when I see some old cm profiles still accessible and obviously still e-active but last online in 2012 or so and others neither-nor.

A heeled dishwasher with a feather duster? I could not imagine anything more ineffective. There are machines invented for that purpose and an on-off switch - truly useful for it.

Over the years I have had more than a few of those type of mails. I honestly believed some of those guys, or whatever we are supposed to call them these days, truly wanted to clean my house. They meant house right or is house a code word for polishing my dick?

If I thought about it at the times, and they didn't want sex, merely the thrill of me being there I would have replied clean my cooker. I would have wrote, in very small print, you need to catch the sentient fucker first.

Me and my flock of cats could egg them on from the side lines - with actual eggs and empty tins of tuna.
