I was thinking about starting a thread asking you all when I come across this term "Left" "Libtards" what do all you mean? I have came across many curious terms in my life and near the top is Antisemitism Does any one know what it means and why it means that? Was Columbia the $400 million defunding or the mass murder shooting, which was probably a school as it always is with you lot. If you are in USA you abide by their laws. It is that simple even I know that. I presume this one is about some student? He broke no American Laws. Not only that many Jews defended him and what he said? As I was looking for a link, which I will find, I came across this one now Dozens of pro-Palestinian protesters arrested at Columbia University https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/ce929l5z2ldo New York police have arrested dozens of pro-Palestinian protesters after they occupied part of the main library at Columbia University on Wednesday. Two university security officers were injured when protesters forced their way into Butler Library on Wednesday, according to a statement from the university president, who called activists' actions "outrageous". Video posted on social media showed chanting protesters entering the library, many wearing keffiyeh headscarves and masks, defying a ban from the Trump administration that was imposed after widespread campus demonstrations last year. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the visa statuses of those involved would be reviewed. More than 70 protesters were reportedly arrested. No one has yet been charged, and authorities have not given details about who is being held and whether they are in the US on visas. Not capital Hill then or are they still rebuilding that after they cleaned up the blood of the victim's of Maga and Trump? As well as targeting prominent individuals - by revoking hundreds of international student visas and threatening deportations - Trump's team has also taken direct aim at top-tier US universities, such as Columbia, which he accuses of failing to fight antisemitism on campus. My understanding of the colloquial word Antisemitism is that few people are. Did the guy in my next link get deported? Who is Mahmoud Khalil, Palestinian student activist facing US deportation?https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cgj5nlxz44yo Mahmoud Khalil, a prominent figure during the Gaza war protests at Columbia University in the spring of 2024, has drawn global attention after the Trump administration arrested and moved to deport him. The case has raised questions about free speech on college campuses and the legal process that would allow for the deportation of a US permanent resident. Mr Khalil will remain in detention in Louisiana following a court hearing on Wednesday, where lawyers argued over whether he should be moved back to New York. Born in Syria, the Columbia graduate's arrest by immigration agents was linked to President Donald Trump's promise to crack down on student demonstrators he accuses of "un-American activity". Don't get me started with that capitol hill shit. Many people were injured, including 174 police officers. Four officers who responded to the attack died by suicide within seven months.[35] Damage caused by attackers exceeded $2.7 million.[46] Hostages and Heroes of that fucking mayhem were pardoned?
