Trump defends trying to blame Biden for poor GDP data after repeatedly claiming credit for Democrat’s strong economic numbers
President claims economic downturn has ‘NOTHING TO DO WITH TARIFFS’

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-economy-biden-blame-gdp-data-b2742579.html

President Donald Trump defended his attempt to cast blame on his predecessor, former president Joe Biden, after the Labor Department’s Bureau of Economic Analysis found that the American economy shrank by 0.3 percent during the first quarter of this year, marking the first drop in three years as Trump’s tariff policies disrupted businesses and their supply chains.

Earlier in the day, Trump took to Truth Social on Wednesday to blame his predecessor for the dismal numbers, writing that what was transpiring was “Biden’s stock market, not Trump’s.”

He added: “I didn’t take over until January 20th (WTF). Tariffs will soon start kicking in, and companies are starting to move into the USA in record numbers. Our Country will boom, but we have to get rid of the Biden ‘Overhang.’ This will take a while, has NOTHING TO DO WITH TARIFFS, only that he left us with bad numbers, but when the boom begins, it will be like no other. BE PATIENT!!!”

2 dolls or 30 dolls?
Trump says US kids may get '2 dolls instead of 30,' but China will suffer more in a trade war https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPBc3SfY0zk

On that bullshit do I multiply by 2 or 32, and do I add a "couples of bucks" for 1 or 2 dolls, or for all 32 or is it a "couple of yet to be defined more bucks" a piece?

What the fuck do you do with 2 dolls let alone 30? Is it the running away all his victims and 1-2 is the fast sprint Melania Marla models. Fuck, I don't have to buy those two dinner do I?

Which of his wives was Jean Carrol again?

He ll blame Biden for American hens not producing enough eggs so that poor orangehead has to import immigrant eggs from Turkey and the EU (including Denmark btw) and the American citizens pay for his taxes on EU goods.
All because Biden for sure

This was a blockbuster GDP number — tariff front-runs hid an epic boom in investment. The Mother’s Milk of prosperity.

oh Bosocks what a nonsense. Should I explain to the parrot you how tariffs work and who pays? So much for starters: Not the producers of goods, the buyers and consumers in the end .....

Not the chickens, those who eat eggs, get that??????????????????? Too complicated for you???

Du bist so ein Hornochs[sm=ofcourse.gif]

Could we assume that:

1. My good friend BoscoX understands exactly how Tariffs work.
2. The line he quoted about foreigners paying for it, doesn't refer to the Tariff itself. But rather the building of factories (or the increased US production in existing factories) in the US to avoid the tariffs. (e.g. Honda)

After all, on some days, (when they aren't claiming they are a very short-term negotiating tactic), the current administration claims their purpose is to incentivize production in the US and create more jobs.

Mr. St. Onge's (in the video) economic ideas are sound. I think his conclusions are overly optimistic, and yet to be seen.

He astutely points out:

1. There was a surge of imports and consumer spending Pre-Tariff
2. This import surge counts as a negative when calculating GDP

I don't know where he gets his US investment numbers. I have yet to verify them.

The bottom line is... PERHAPS

Mein guter Freund BoscoX ist schlauer als er scheint.

MJ 2. This import surge counts as a negative when calculating GDP I never looked into that one myself as I assumed it worked the other away around.

I know in America there are something like holding centres. In that if you buy goods from foreign countries you can stockpile them in American warehouses for 5 years and the tariffs of 5 years ago apply. And I strongly suspect the holding centres can sell them at any tariff rate withing that 5 years cycle. They would have been set up by the rich elites for price gouging purposes too, aided and abetted by the criminals in the Senate for a 10 buck tip Sneaked into one of your mental bills all encompassing bills as a random 2 line paragraph in a 2000 page document. Which president and bill I have no idea but it wouldn't have been trump time I think.

There is a time and place for strategic tariffs just not 99% of Trump's bullshit ones and all his merch is made in China. Still? As much as I would like to blame this on Peter Navaro, a fucking idiot, trump went on about tariffs from the 1980s onwards. Trump is the complete idiot he had no idea what a tariff was back then. Out with he had to import some foreign shit and as the importer he had to pay the tariff or one of his many failed businesses did. It wouldn't have been foreign labour. He never paid them, or his american contractors either, not that he ever had a dime to his name.

A tariff is a government tax on the consumer from said country, applying said tariffs.

Ein Schauplatz der beiden? Not you blnymph I know you are German, oddly only recently, hard language to understand that, speak and type.

As much as I understand American Beef that ban got lifted around. 2010 let me go look.
The American beef ban on European beef, initially implemented due to Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) or mad cow disease, was lifted in November 2013. However, individual countries within the EU had to undergo inspections and meet specific requirements before they could resume exporting their beef to the US. For example, UK beef exports to the US were not resumed until March 2020. trump 1.0 fuck job was in power 2016-2020 and yet UK beef was banned until 2020? Not Trump's ban either but the moaning fuckjob didnt lift it did he?

Are you this lost and totally in the dark about "how tariffs work" because German "journalists" refuse to report on "how tariffs work" just like American "journalists" do

China Riots Erupt as Trump Tariffs Hit Factories | Jim Thomas, Newsmax

Widespread unrest has erupted across China as President Donald Trump's steep tariffs devastate the nation's export-driven economy, triggering factory closures, unpaid wages, and massive protests by workers, The Daily Caller reported.

Riots and mass protests are spreading across China as economic fallout from Trump's tariffs pushes the nation's manufacturing sector to the brink, shuttering factories and leaving millions of workers without pay.

From industrial zones near Shanghai to the remote edges of Inner Mongolia, workers have taken to the streets demanding back pay and denouncing mass layoffs. The unrest comes amid a sharp drop in Chinese export orders — now at their lowest since the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns.

Outside an LED light manufacturing facility near Shanghai, thousands of workers protested this week over unpaid wages dating back to January. In central China's Dao County, another protest erupted outside a sporting goods store that had abruptly closed its doors without compensating its employees.

In Tongliao, a city in the northeast, construction workers climbed onto rooftops and threatened suicide if wages weren't delivered.

Ummmm

I am hoping and praying you understand that this China Tariff protest story does not mean that Chinese businesses are paying US Tariffs

JVoV -> RE: Trump defends trying to blame Biden for poor GDP data (5/7/2025 12:17:19 PM)

I'm not sure what the question even is here.

The importer pays any duties owed to Customs when the goods arrive in this country. That's just how tariffs work.

Even if the actual.product is made in the US, if any component of it or not the packaging is made on a foreign country, a tariff would either make that product more expensive for the consumer or the company would need to use an alternativ, as soon as possible.

A new factory can take years to build and get running, so Americans will likely see empty store shelves in the coming months. And the ttadr war with China is likely to have some serious consequences for us, with shortages on several things we need from China, like the active ingredients in many over the counter NSAIDS and cold remedies.

Some sort of inflation or shrink lation will happen, unnecessarily, unless alternatives are found soon enough, which isn't likely.

Sorry that I keep posting so far over your head

Here - I will break it down for you

The tariffs' "work" involves decoupling American markets from the slave state that Democrats are so beholden to

The Biden "Justice Department" literally covered up China Joe's family bribery business, and all of the Democrat faithful know the truth in the back of their minds but choose to look away, just as the Democrat Media (your "ONE TRUE JOURNALISM") refuses to report on the riots, to report on how President Trump is bringing China Joe's sugar daddies to their knees

The Clintons were in on it, too - it's the Democrat Party way

Which is a large part of the reason your cult keeps trying to kill or imprison or otherwise destroy President Trump, and Elon Musk, and everyone else who doesn't bend the knee and kiss the the cult ring

Please enlighten me so that I may understand. How does taxing American citizens and American businesses on goods they import "decouple American markets from the slave state to which Democrats are so beholden?

The supply chain lag has ended so we will see higher prices (already are), shortages, and in some cases, layoffs to offset the cost of the tariff.

Do you think that manufacturing is going to move here from offshore? Perhaps in the auto industry.
But building cheap goods that are made in China? Sneakers that are sewn together in Vietnam?

The rest of the world is bypassing us, and we are empowering China to replace us.

Perhaps, in your infinite wisdom (from your X feed) you can explain how these taxes on our businesses decouple our markets from a slave state.

Not really
.I just know how a fucking tariff works .
