Bessent is a nutter and made from the same stock as Nutter (lot of them about)Peter Navarro. When Trump backed tracked from his crazy tariffs the other guy not Bessent( or pete) talk trump out of wrecking the American economy and went on camera 2 minutes and lied about all that stuff claiming it was part of TACO trump's genius strategy. It would not surprise me in the least if it was Bessent who gave another nutter Musk the black eye.

Everything Steve Bessent said was a lie. Yes

Gas is down I think but its definitely not 2 bucks a gallon.
The cost of living I may or may not look up but I figure at least expert Boscox should know those figures to save me looking up more american shit. Zero or negative inflation isn't a good thing an despite boscox slobbering its Zero it is actually US Inflation Rate is at 2.35%, compared to 2.31% last month and 3.27% last year. This is lower than the long term average of 3.28%.

Trump 2.0 Americans putting life on hold amid economic anxiety under Trump, poll shows

Americans are reconsidering major life events including marriage, having children and buying a home amid economic anxiety in the opening months of the Trump presidency, according to an exclusive poll for the Guardian.

https://www.theguardian.com/business/2025/may/12/americans-economy-trump-poll

Six in 10 Americans said the economy has affected at least one of their major life goals, according to the Harris poll, citing either lack of affordability or anxiety around the current economy.

Though Donald Trump’s tariff policies have only been in place for a few weeks, and though the president has temporarily walked back on some of his harshest policies, the findings are a sign that Trump’s economic agenda could have long-term effects.

A vast majority (78%) said they had noticed increased grocery prices over the last few months, while 60% said they had also noticed monthly bills and everyday essentials getting more expensive.

Although nearly half (48%) of Republicans said the cost of living has gone up this year, Republicans appear to be more optimistic about the overall state of the economy, particularly compared to when Joe Biden was in the White House.

That's 10 minutes of my life I am not getting back Boscox because you insist on posting lies from X-shit which is basically just propaganda bots from all over the world doing their thing.

MJ if I didn't know better I think they want to deport all 13 million undocumented. They will change their minds fast enough with some of them if prices are affected. By all means deport the bad criminals but that leaves a little shy of 13 million who are not criminals.

Boscox you could try doing some links from the right wing Daily Mail and Telegraph, not X-shit, but just remember to read the actual article and not their click bait headlines. And the daily beast and those sort of places.

Democrat Party cult members can howl their mad cult chants, but they can't provide credible links like sane people do.

The average cost of a Fourth of July picnic for 10 people will cost $70.92 in 2025, down slightly from $71.22 last year.

Sure as hell not here.

Gas prices near lowest level in 4 years ahead of Fourth of July

Definitely not here. I was paying $3.69 at the end of the Biden Adminstration. It JUST went down to $4.19 last week here.

We're talking about the real world out here

Commiefornia lives by it's own *special* rules

The law of supply & demand is a real thing that defies even the most intense cult chants - and the elitists who control the Democrat Party and the Democrat Media have been gaming the system to benefit their ultra wealthy donor friends

Expert video at the linked site:

quote:

Treasury Secretary SCOTT BESSENT just summed up the migration crisis for America perfectly.

"The big LIE was that this kind of immigration didn't hurt working people. Now economists have come out and said, oh what a surprise, even the laws of supply and demand work in the low end labor market!"

"For YEARS, Wall Street has done well. Now it's time for Main Street to do well, and they can both do well."
