When Trump backed tracked from his crazy tariffs the other guy not Bessent( or pete) talk trump out of wrecking the American economy and went on camera 2 minutes and lied about all that stuff claiming it was part of TACO trump's genius strategy. It would not surprise me in the least if it was Bessent who gave another nutter Musk the black eye.
