cuddleheart50 -> Breast Bondage (7/30/2006 1:27:17 PM)

I just had my first experience with breat bondage about a week ago...I loved it!!...But within this last week, my breasts have gotten bruises all over them, is this normal...kind of scared me.

deltadawn -> RE: Breast Bondage (7/30/2006 2:43:33 PM)

Yes it is normal.  You may also find a few hard lumps but they will go down.  Warm compresses always helps me, also a break from any play in that area until the area heals.

Thanks for the info and the advice about the warm compress...[:D]

Afterbruises of breast bondage are very normal and, to me, very endearing. It gives me something to think about when I can't see him.

Same here, I love the bruises.

timeoutgurlie -> RE: Breast Bondage (8/3/2006 9:05:41 PM)

Wondered about this myself after hearing that women in sports are advised to keep a close on a breast/breasts that have been injured to the point of bruising; say, being hit very hard in the breast with a soccer ball during a game.

I plan to tell my doctor a bit about the kind of things I do with my partner and see what she says about the risks.  I've just switched doctors and wouldn't have dared to mention anything along the same veins with my past GP, but this new one seems to be pretty open minded from convos we've already had, plus she's a woman and somehow that sets me at ease as well...no offense to the male doctors, of course. [:D]

For lots of info on breast bondage, torture, etc., read the article on Breast Punishment here:

Great link!  Thanks!

timeoutgurlie -> RE: Breast Bondage (8/8/2006 7:10:13 PM)

I read the link but found nothing that actually states whether breast play can increase the risk for breast cancer, and haven't found anything on Google either.  If any docs or med professionals read this, could you maybe clear this up for me?  Thanks and of course...happy playing everyone [:D]

To the best of my knowledge it has never been studied. I think it is unlikely it will be anytime soon. It would be odd if that were a significant risk, but science is the business of testing hypotheses, not assuming, and I don't think this has been tested.

FelinePersuasion -> RE: Breast Bondage (8/8/2006 7:25:24 PM)

Why would you have stayed with a gyno, or any dr for that matter that gave you the impression that you couldn't share those kind of things with.

GP stands for General Practitioner (ie your family doctor) thats different than a gynecologist.  Not everyone has much of a choice of where to go to depending on health insurance or location.  If you don't have any health insurance you are stuck with who you can get, no matter how much you dislike them (thats why people generally hate clinics.)

FelinePersuasion -> RE: Breast Bondage (8/8/2006 10:38:48 PM)

Giggles I mis read that. Thanks for pointing out my mistake. I had a doctor long ago who refused to admit anything was wrong with me and I didn't knoe that I could insist on another doctor, so consequently I had sever back problems resulting in need of a wheel chair and total loss of  normal movement function cause some dumb ass didn't take my complaints seriously.

timeoutgurlie -> RE: Breast Bondage (8/9/2006 11:45:29 AM)

Strong - Thanks, I was nearly certain too that there wouldn't be any scientific studies on breast bondage/play *specifically*, but since I'd originally heard that hard impact (described as anything that results in a bruise on the breast, especially deep bruising) from my gym teacher in highschool...I thought there must have been studies done on women involved in sports and the risks to their breasts if they're playing a sport where they could be hit hard with something.  I'm still pretty sure it has to be out there, I just can't find it [&:]

amative - Thanks, you summed it up nicely, I didn't really have a choice, but I do agree Feline that we should be able to discuss these thinsg with our doctor since they can effect our health, just as anyone else would discuss their concerns with their docs [:D]

Attempts to study the effect of breast injury have been made, and to the best of my knowledge, no link has been found. While not dispositive, it certainly would suggest that it is not any cause for concern whatsoever.

timeoutgurlie -> RE: Breast Bondage (8/11/2006 12:21:27 AM)

Thanks a bunch [:D]

MSUBLACKGIRL -> RE: Breast Bondage (8/14/2006 9:04:11 AM)

Breasts are like anything else...they can be damaged. Screw a study, just use common sense and applied science.

mnottertail -> RE: Breast Bondage (8/14/2006 9:09:27 AM)

Exactly, you want to make sure your equipment can take it, and the fuckin' things don't fall off in your hands just 'cause you rough 'em up a little.  But they are attached to a body, however tenuous that is and do not have a life outside their host.

Don't just do, Think!!!!!   Adoy

You're welcome!

Even without all the great information, it's a fun read.
