He's right.  And it should be noted that some people on hereget way too offended way too easily, and if they didn't want to read what you had to say, they shouldn't have looked.  Contrary to popular belief, no one has the right to not be offended.  You just happened to offend people that you care about.  I'm very proud of you right now, bratling.

As with most people who get into that mindset it is very rare that anyone 'hates' them let alone 'everyone' and it is usualy over something, maybe unpleasent, but ultimatly trivial.

Status: offline 		i am really very sorry, but Gauge Sir and SavageFaerie, i can not agree with You. and i know You don't really know me, but like, i don't really eva disagree or argue with anybody unless i'm allowed too, so please forgive me in this instance.
 
it may be a "validation thing", but i can truely understand why enigma asked. and i think if i woz her, i would *need* to ask too, coz i know where she's coming from.
 
i would HATE to feel like i upset anybody and if i did, then i think i would make sure it woz ok with them if i come back and took part again. and these forums are such open places, that even non-members can see wot we are saying to each other, so really, ANYBODY can be offended by wot we say.
 
sorry, but i just wanted to say please don't have a go at enigma for asking for validation. i don't mean this funny, but i wouldn't expect Doms to understand some people need to be accepted, and for that reassurance. i know i do, and i know some people can find it really frustrating and annoying, and really, it's not ment like that.
 
and to enigma, i would say please don't worry hunny. i don't really know you, but like, apart from being told off the other day, and you throwing a wobbly, i think everybody here luvs you, and would rather you stayed hun. i've enjoyed chatting to you, and like i said before, i'm really sorry if i caused you any of that hurt. i neva ment to be nasty to anybody, and perhaps i coulda said wot i said a bit betta. so sorry, and please stay.

You can NEVER please everyone, the bigger the group, the more likely you are going to piss off SOMEONE at some point. Every choise you make, every statement you make, some will agree, some won't, some will smile at it, some will maybe be upset, thats life, their problem, theirs to DEAL with.

She posted that she felt those type of threads turn into popularity contests (which it did). So what, if you think she fucked up the seldom said thread. Who here hasn't went and threadjacked someone else's thread? She was attacked because it is appreciated by the viewers here and because she is an attention whore. Seems to me that, when you attack someone because other people appreciate it. That makes you an attention whore and drama queen. Who here hasn't fucked up the English language for no good reason? Who here can say they haven't been an attention whore at one time or another? I'm being an attention whore right now and hope you read this. If you don't like the grammar, punctuation, spelling or just me in general. Get over it and block me, no one is making you read these threads. Bratling I think you should stay, because you want to stay.

thank You very much for the insight from a Doms perspective, and to be completely honest with You, i hadn't really thought of that.
 
i think i have always tried to be respectful on here, and indeed everywhere really, (but prolly more so on here, coz people encourage me to say wot i think, and to "come out my shell", whereas in real life, i tend not too, coz i find it difficult and quite scary) especially when i disagree with somebody.
 
i would like to think i choose my "battles" carefully, and i often read stuff i disagree with, but i don't know how to say wot i want to say properly, so i would rather just keep it to myself and not say anything at all.
 
i can see wot You're saying Sir, but i would hope that when i do disagree and work up the courage to say something, i'd do so in a way wot wont cause offence to no body. and if i did cause offence to any one person, they would tell me so, so i would have to opportunity to apologise, Dom/me and sub/slave/pet alike.
 
i neva mean to diss anybody, and i tend to feel really really bad if i think i have.
 
i think wot enigma done, and the language she used woz just wholly inappropriate. she regrets it now, and i admire her courage to start up an entire thread to apologise.. but on the point that woz raised, i can really feel for her, coz like i said, i think if i done wot she done, i would feel really, REALLY bad too, and yes, i think i would BEG for everybody's forgiveness too. and with the utmost of respect, and please, i really do mean that, i just feel as though perhaps picking up on her asking for that reassurance that she woz allowed to come back and take part again, wasn't really the point.
 
she done wrong, she woz told off, she feels really sorry and wants people to tell her it's alright. we all make mistakes and even when we're naughty, we're still loved.
 
but like i said RavenMuse Sir, i do understand wot You said, and to be honest, i don't really know how to respond, coz that thought just makes me confused, and i would have to ask my Master wot to do. i'm sorry i can't really give You a proper answer.

There is a group on here that do have authority. The Mods, break the rules, they will slap you, continue to do so and they will kick your arse off. That applies to everyone D & s alike.

Other than that there is only ONE person you need validation from. You are owned, that one person is your Master. So long as he is happy with your conduct then no-one else can say wether you stay or go. It is upto Him!

D's and unowned subs, the only person that can validate them is themself. End of story.

As for these events. Brat appologised, which IMO was the right thing to do. I understand 'validation' was something asked of her, the gentleman has his own reasons for that. At face value I don't think it was the right choise, but I'm not Him and don't know the full in's and out's of his train of thought.

These couple of posts are not about brat or what happened specificaly, but simply about 'validation' in general in regards to a place such as this.
