I am recently out of about a 7mo. D/s relationship (my first). The reason for the split is that she has moved to do more adult films. My question is this, and please forgive me if this sounds odd due to the fact that I am new here. But here goes... She is wanting to move together to New Orleans in about 6 months and what I am wanting to know is has anyone ever experienced this type of split and the getting back together after a period of time? If so, what were your results? The reason that I ask is I do not know what the trust factor will be like, I do not know if everything we worked together will still be there. Any info would help.

Personally speaking.....Once the trust is gone its very hard to get it back. Some where there will always be the thought in the back of your head of what happened and will it happen again. Learn from the experience and move on.

this slave lives 3000 miles away from her Master but W/we talk openly about everything.

this slave can not stress it enough communication, Communication, COMMUNICATION is the key to any and all D/s relationships...always comminicate to her the thoughts, feelings, and concerns You have.

there are times this slave wonders if Master trusts her and when that happens W/we talk about it. why she feels this way, what made her think this, things like that.

talk to her let her know Your fears, thoughts, feelings, desires, wants and needs if it was meant to be things will work out, if not then as OTKDom said "move on" "JMO"

hopefully this helps a bit and Y/you can work things out.

I didn't see him say anywhere about the *trust* being gone. Basically, this is no different than any other relationship when someone has to go away for a job for a while. It is up to you to figure out if you can stay comfortable with each other, and as Cariad say, communication is the key...

Do you want to move to New orleans?
Will you have issues with her job?
I've never personally gotten back with anyone I have split up with.
Although it sounds as if the two of you never really broke up.
She just went to pursue her career? If so and you have no problems
why not?

thanks to everyone for adding in to this little rant.... I guess we will see where everything goes, I do care for this person quite a bit.....so I guess only time will tell what will happen.
