How do you get your news, Guys? I mean, for the longest time, I never got any kind of news...

Just curiousity. :)

PS if your answer is other, I'd love to hear a post about it. :) thanks.

I considered hitting "other" because I get my news from several sources. I run Fox News while I'm doing nonsense stuff in the house and prefer local news in the morning when I drink my coffee. I can't actually sit and watch Fox News because they go on and on about stuff like the Scott Peterson case, give me a break!

I have a subscription for the local newspaper but I don't read it everyday. So, television news is the way to go for me.

I checked CNN because it is on in the background most of the day. However, I always watch the local news at 5:00 and 11:00, and also read the newspaper.

Local stations the majority of the time. I watch in the mornings at work. Used to love to watch Good Morning America. But I work nights now and am usually asleep when it comes on.

Um . . . what do you mean you never got any kind of news? Cave dweller?

Take care,

I get my news from several sources. I get the local news from our small town paper (or from the people dropping in to the post office to collect their mail atthe same time I do!). I get state news from daily newspaper delivery. I also get the New York Times and Village Voice online, and listen to Canadian and World News on T.V. throughout the day.

Hehehe, by that I meant, I got no newspaper, I don't have a radio or television in my house, and the radio stations I listened to in the car were just like celeb headlines... I never saw evening news and never checked yahoo... relied on word of mouth from family members for like an entire year. Then I felt kind of out of it. Now I listen to NPR and get the local paper. Still don't have a radio or television in the house. :) But that's about it.

i selected 'other'. Most times i keep up with the news by reading online. Many times i get the latest news in conversing with clients while cutting their hair. Like bartending, working as a cometologist involves alot of conversation with clients, many times we hear some of our local news before it even hits the local media.

Actually Paulnz I have the peasants version of Sky known as Saturn :-)

It would be fine for you to come over and watch the Lions tour and the Super12 (assuming it was on Saturn) - except I guess I';d have to serve you beer and snacks and take care of your every need as well as make out like Im having fun watching it too - this damn submissive nature of mine will get me into trouble one day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From memory ( saw Saturn at a place I was staying at ) Saturn is higher class than Sky ? It had extra features, like movies on a pay per view etc., though I haven't connected to the cable running past my place as the company representing themselves were very dishonest. They hijacked me and timetabled in underground installation when I hadn't asked, and I only found this out as one of the work crew mentioned they were doing my place too !! I went ballistic.

Not only would you have to attend to my every need, but suffer with my belching and putting my feet up on your coffee table. These days I have the indignity of going to the Holy Grail.

Online is her favorite wat foreign media outlets are amust for more accurate war time coverage, she real times Al-Jazeera also she watches the Democracy Now and LINK channels via satellite which have a more broad spectrum approach to news...Fox news and MSNBC and the like are more akin to govt propaganda then anything else....like one giant red white and blue commerical.
