Hey everyone...
Hope everyone is coing well, and wishing everyone a happy/healthy/safe holiday season.
Did anyone else feel completely lost and disconnected from a part of his/her family while collarme was down?? I did, am breathe a sigh of relief it's back up.

It was like being forced to be in the 3rd grade again after graduating from college. All the faux Masters, the trolling, the complaints of improper im's, the cybering, etc...
And all of it at lightning speed. Lol.

I'm wondering how long the residual problems are going to last. For about a week before whatever happened. Collarme was loading like the ice age again. It is a bit better but definately not up to par just yet.
Are we going to go through it all again?

Yes I felt cut off especially since I'm burned out on chat rooms so I didn't even get to do any chipping to get me through lol...Mike

I'm really glad Collar Me is back up. I'm enjoying the forums - since certain 'other' sites make you shell out bucks to post, I'd been feeling mighty deprived. Glad to have the forums back.

Know exactly what you mean; I coped okay over the weekend because I had to work, but after that it was terrible, than I definitely could not handle chat room, and lightning speed in chat room.

OMG yes!!! The saddest thing is their idea of cybering is so lame!!! i don't mind too much watching a well thought out cyber scene. Some of the things they "do" are not even physically possible r/t though. Not to mention the so called submissives either throwing pie, stealing credit cards, cussing out Doms that they don't like or other equally soo not submissive actions.
Makes me sick

Stealing credit cards? They have graduated into non trusting theives? Yet, still claim to be lifestyle?

Anyway, I spent my time attempting to finish up christmas chores. Perhaps some of you who were so frustrated should have followed suit.

Gloria,
well they aren't real credit cards. Only cyber credit cards. Can't know if the Dom's having the cards stolen from them even have credit cards. One thing pretty clear is that they are usually about as Dominant as the submissives stealing the credit cards and tthrowing the pies are submissive.
The one that i'll never forget was the submissive that when on and on for an hour complaining that it was hard for her to find a Dom that would accept her because she had NO limits and the Doms just couldn't accept a submissive with no limits. After an hour of this complaining she said she only does cyber she doesn't do real time at all. Well gee it's MUCH easier to have no limits if all you do is cyber.
PS oh and i did spend time in the kitchen baking loads of cookies. Had to break in my new kitchen aid mixer.

While I am glad Collarme is back up and running, and I enjoy visiting the site, and the forums, I think we all need to take a step back if anyone was truly lost while it was down.

It may be time to make that call to Online Anonymous!

LOL, Yes, I definitely may have a problem (but it needs to be for Collarme addicts, not just any site)... You know the #?
Thanks Gloria for the advice... we should have had that Announcement in the chatrooms:
Collarme is Having a problem! In the meantime, Y'all Deadbeats go do your chrismas shopping and send your holiday cards out, as it would have been hilarious and a great idea.

P.S. OMG: With this posting, I've graduated to indecent! Can't wait for twisted, because it soooo describes me...Yeah!

I understand completely. I didn't realize how much I rely on the Collarme Boards. I tried the chat but it was mind boggling. I resorted to reading books during the down time.

I absolutely love the boards as well. However, the down time was a perfect time since it was the holidays. I finally got all of my "must do's" done.
I'm actually ready for christmas now. Tonight we open gifts with the family, tomorrow as our own little family. Its noon and I'm ready...I can't say I've been totally ready this early in years.

Nope. i just shrugged, and whispered (to myself) 'shit happens'. i have a couple of domains of my own that have 'bit the dust' a few times. Also have served as a Mod at another forum that went 'poof' a couple of times. In any case, eventually problems are solved, all is fixed etc.
After being informed of it by INSIDEYOURMIND, i did pop in twice to briefly check out the chat screen that had replaced the collarme home page during the site's downtime. i wasn't freaked at all by the downtime. i instead focused on offline stuff ... had tons of holiday preparations and shopping to attend to, and my Master too, of course.

Besides, any time i might feel lost there is always Yahoo! maps... the little red star on the map points out 'You Are Here' ... problem solved.

While new to the site, I found old "addictive traits" were hard to break, and I was annoyed at first, then woefull later that it was down, but patient that it would be back up :).

I had to suffer through "other " websites innane jibber jabber and yahoo message boards... !

Glad to see this back up and in running true to form again :)
