FangsNfeet -> Miscariage By Lifestyle? (12/23/2004 6:30:17 PM)

Out of curiosity, how many women have had miscariages due to the life style of being a sub/slave? Or perhaps keep regular periods. Sure it's great that you love the life style but for the most part, it's mental. As for the stress of whips, chains, toys, fisting, and other acts that a master may put on your body, how has it or does it conflict with the female body being able to concieve and give birth? As being in the medical field I'm interested in doing research, studies, and possibly a term paper on the subject. Other than that, when I find a good sub who wants to have my kids, i'm always interested in certain do's and don'ts.[&:]

depending on what is being done to the submissive yes there can be miscarriages .......... but remember one thing most those miscarriages are because certain things were taken to far

My girlfriend had a miscarriage not one month ago.
It was heart breaking, particularly because she has been told that it is virtually impossible for her to have kids, because of surgery gone wrong some years ago. So it came as a great surprise. We were pretty thrilled after the initial shock had gone and we found out that we could make it, money wise and the like.
It wasnt due to anything sexual though. It's pretty hard to provoke a miscarriage during play, I think. You'd virtually have to beat the stomach with you first or the like.

My thoughts on the matter, My Master and I if trying to concieve change our life style a bit. He is more thoughtful to what my body is capable of handling and what would be okay and what would not be okay for such a sensative state of concieving and carrying. And as for things that would prevent me from concieving, or being okay during child carrying time he does not do anything to damage. No fisting, no vaginal hooks, nothing of the sort. We lived the lifestyle while I was pregnant and were able to carry on many of the nomral things that we do. Spanking, whipping, restraint. And it actually made our bondage sessions more beautiful then they ever have been. My Master says, "If ever a master does to a sub/slave that which would interrupt or prevent pregnancy, or well carrying of the child than the master is not fit to hold the responsiblity that has been given." Thank you have a wonderful day. And to those I read on here who have loss, I feel your pain I my self lost 5 in utero because they said I could not have kids, but years after trying My Sir and I have a beautiful little boy. Who's smile everyday doesn't take away the pain of loss, but aids it to a triump that new life will thrive if given the love and care that we all so despritely need to survive.

I had a miscarriage when I was 14. I was practicing witchcraft at the time and after 2 months I miscarried (sux in school though cervical bruising has been worse). I partly believe that the body responds to the attitude and my disdain for having a kid undoubtedly made my body reject the fetus. No regrets here, I would have had to have gotten an abortion. Anyone can argue that I was simply too young but others have had kids with problems worse than age. I have fucked hard enough that I triggered my period early so I don't know why its would be different if you were pregnant. Force on the cervix can force out blood at any point especially if there is a lot of lining due to the end of a cycle or pregnancy.

I would think this sounds like you are coming at this like a Republican Christian.

Would you be tracking diet as well? exercise? Stress factors, and be doing blood work?

if 23% of all BDSM people had misscarriages and 28% of all people living in trailer parks had miscarriages, and only 18% of BDSM people living in trailer parks had miscarriages, would you recommend BDSM as an effective threapy?

I have two children. No miscarriages. But I am a neuro-muscular specialist and very knowledgable in nutrition.

Miscarriage have a number of reasons, spiritual, nutritional, body tone and genetic being just a few.

Your question appears to have an agenda.

If you prayed to Jesus, and then miscarried, would going to church be the reason?
Clearly being buddhist is better look at Indoa and China.

to me, it seems to be a resonable agenda, to learn if there are concerns or dangers involved!

when a pregnant woman at work tripped and fell to her knees in the breakroom.... everyone took it very seriously, including the medical personnel. not that her abdomen had been struck, but that she had been jarred, and actually, had just been dealing with concerns about a possibly torn placenta.

there are people that ask how safe it is to have "normal" intercourse during pregnancy. why is it not a reasonable question to ask if there are factors in BDSM play that can affect the stability of a fetus?

i am diabetic. Master has to watch for signs of blood sugar fluctuations, and we have to be aware of circulation. i want to have a child with Him someday, and when i get pregnant, i am sure he will want to modify any practices that could put the pregnancy at risk.

now, maybe there aren't many things directly related to BDSM that could trigger a miscarriage, but better to ask, than to learn too late.

AGREED SANITA.

First of all, no woman can fall and just have a miscarriage. it says in many medical books about child birth and you can be told by a doctor, that any thing that can hurt you physically will most likely hurt your unborn child. a little trip might rattle you because of shock , but be hit in the stomach or back maybe dangerous.

bdsm is more violent than "regular/vanilla interscourse".depending on limits and harashness, of course.

THE POINT IS: a woman needs to be careful when she's about to have a child.

dsamethyst -> RE: Miscariage By Lifestyle? (5/3/2005 10:57:07 AM)

as an RN and one who has had a half dozen kids I know I keep saying it but it just sounds just soooo much miore when i say 6...so a half dozen it is...anhow....basically the care that oen takes with a pregnant woman is dependant upon her health the health of the cild...and the activities planned...NEVER push air into the vagina...basically position changes have to be used...shouldnt keep one that is over 6 month on her back or cerculationm to the fetus is impaired.. the uterus pushed on the vena cav and well the blood doesnt flow back as well.

other issues are circulation ones...logistically every blood vessel in the expectant moms body has more pressure on it. She literally ha more blood in her body then ever before and it adds increased pressure on every single blood vessel.. the ones in her perinal area are increased in sensation so sadists would havea field day...increased circulation =increased sensation....I can tell you scouts honor that the first tiem i ever ever had an orgasm was when i was 6 months alone with my first child...granted i was a virgin bride at 19 but hey at least it happened and figuredd out what the big deal about sex was...LOL

and how...if preggers...you have to be honest with your midwife/doctor....I personally prefer midwives but anyhow that is a major issue...you have to be honest and open..nurses are people...and well if you do a poll there are a whole lot us that are into fun and games. and how make sure you have a honest conversation through out the pregnancy to know the different activities that should be avoided...who knows they may have some extra ideas and add to thigns you can do....

also...child birth may trigger some emotions with the expecant mother so it would be wise to have the health care provider to know abotu differnt things that you dont respond well to...

well happy birthing...healthy pregnancies..
dawn

Hi Fangs Sir,
i see it's been awhile since you posted this question and my response isn't regarding bdsm, but just wanted to say that centuries ago I had a miscarriage and these were the possible causes...

~ frequently taking extremely hot baths
~ helping to dig a trench for lawn water sprinklers, i was jumping on the head of a shovel repeatedly as this was in Texas and the ground was like concrete
~ very, very rough and frequent sex

i was 3 months pregnant when i was doing all of this at the same time and the miscarriage occurred.... common sense is lacking from my gene pool.... ~ zay
