A good freind of mine introduced me to his lates "toy" that he uses on his girls.
I t costs absolutely nothing.
It does not have to be made, or modified in anyway. You can find them FREE in any Restaraunt..

I can't beat the "toothpick" as the 'cheapest toy around' but I can recommend picking up about 3 to 5 ft. clear plastic tubing (about 3/4" in circumference). Cut it into 2.5 ft. lengths and use it as a flogger (be gentle at first as this can STING). I have hundreds of dollars worth of flogging toys and the one that really gets people is the plastic tubing (remember to blindfold them so they don't know you are using CHEAP hardware store stuff on them).

Your local hardware store - the place to get the BEST in BDSM supplies!

Yet another that is cheap & widely available- the wooden spoons out of your kitchen!

If you're nervous about mixing the two "scenes", hit the Dollar Store. Very cheap & very handy. My Love found a great paddle at a Dollar store- in a former life it was a pizza spatula.

HomeDepot will give you free Paint Stir Sticks in either Regular or Extra Big sizes. Small wooden paddles free for the asking.

rubber bands like th post office leaves out for bulk mail. once again have sub blindfolded and draw tagerts shoot rubberbands... great bdsm party game too. be real bad and double rubberband like sling shot and hold close it will make nice purple welt fast... one toy My slave hates seems they are always being hidden and out of toy bag...but I always know where there is fresh supply...

I have to second paint sticks. I picked up a dozen at Walmart for 23 cents each (5 gallon sized ones). They are a good 1/4" thick, solid and about 1.5" wide.

Good paddle and no biggie if they break.

If you have a Home Depot close, you can probably get them there for a similiar price or free, but if they are free, probably not in quantity.

A pastry brush used on tightly bound balls is delicious. And I never bothered to invest in a Whartenburg Wheel...the tracing wheel from My 8th grade sewing kit works just as well! (No, I never did learn to sew.)
Love the dollar store, love the hardware store and especially love the trendy belts I always have handy around My waist. Most have long strips of soft leather/suede at the ends and make lovely little floggers.

If one can sew, (not My forte...*sigh*) a little velcro goes a long way. Just the prickly half, of course! LOL Now I just thought of that iron on stuff. But it is hard to iron anything onto leather! Of course, I don't iron, either.
