www.water-hole.com  has hoods in stock and they make all their own items. custom work is their speciality. ask for Mike

I've never purchased one of these from Autumn, but I have ordered from the site. Her service is excellent!

I just attended a presentation on sensory deprivation and it was suggested that hoods should be purchased in person. Particularly since you have to be certain that the air ducts will align properly and the hood will not be uncomfortable when the individual is laying down. It would be helpful if you were able to provide a clue as to what you're seeking. The presenter was from New York and is probably aware of reputable merchants in your area. I don't mind inquiring on your behalf if you'd like.

I looked far and wide for a leather hood like one used on me the very first time I played.  I found it here:  http://www.medicaltoys.com/gagsblind.htm  It's called the Total Control Hood II ( TCH2) and laces up the back, which is gusseted, and has two seperate buckle-on padded pieces for the eyes and mouth.  One thing I like is that the mouthpiece doesn't have a built-in gag; so you can use a different one, if you choose. (I don't much like to share a wad of leather with someone else).
 
It is soooooo dreamy!  The feel of the laces pulling tight...buckles working...it's enough to send ya to sub-space just having it put on!  Yummmmmmmmmm   Oh...and it's only $145!  A pretty good price!

i agree with MisPandora!!!! they made a heavy duty hood to fit me. gorgeous work in a timely manner...need i mention how wonderful the sensory dep was?

I used to have one but when me and the ex-sub broke up it "dissapeared" somehow in the moving.

I agree with Pandora also!  Hey Pandora, it's Meg from Ohio SMART *s*

I love Mr. S but also Northbound in Canada has a GREAT hood that has eye and mouth holes with a zippered closure that makes it a great sensory dep hood.  And the laces in back allow for a nice fit and it can be locked through the zipper pulls or holes in back if that's a concern.  A sub friend of mine has both Mr. S and Northbound and they are of equal quality.

The rough part about NB right now is that our exchange rate absolutely blows and customs from time to time slaps tariffs on "toys" and sex products coming into the country.  Back a few years ago, the exchange rates were really fab.  Now, unless I'm going up there and can bring it back with me stashed somewhere in the car or buy from one of my friends who have wholesale contracts with NB, I don't buy from them anymore.  (Although I do send a million leathermen their way for clothing.)

I was at North Bound last year and wanted to buy a hood, but they would not let me try it on.  I was sort of suprised since I was ready to drop a fair amount of money on this hood.  I am sure there are sanatary issues, but I was surprised they they did not have a liner or something so someone could try on a hood.
