Other than the obvious stuff like loyalty and honesty, etc, I have to say intelligence and independence. The number one thing that will drive me nuts about a sub is if she needs to be micro-managed or needs constant attention. She has to be smart enough to think and decide what to do without asking me all the time, and has to have her own life activities aside from those I give her.

Of course, those same great qualities would drive some doms crazy, which is what makes the world go 'round [:D]

I agree with obis on this one. I want my slave to be trustworthy, fun and independent. I don't have the time or energy to micromanage anyone and an attention whore would find me ignoring them real quick.

I have to agree with obis on that one. Micromanagement makes it pointless to have someone else doing something.

I want a slave that can provide mre than just sexual company. Mind you, the intimately physical is important to me, but that's not all there is to my own personality, so I don't expect it to be everything with theirs.

I also have to agree with MHOO314. My own desires are not written in stone from year to year, a good slave should be adaptable to that regard.

But this is just my own $0.02.

Bravo to the both of you!!! I couldn't have said it better myself. I actually had an attention whore once. And when I didn't give her the attention in this negative manner she labled me as a "bad Domme".

    Yourkajira to answer your question, I would have to say for a sub/slave to show me everything inside of her and then giving all. As in her trust, body, mind, and heart. However if you are new to bdsm and are looking for ways to please a new Domme/Mistress in your life or soon to be in your life. Perhaps when you are in a conversation with Her about what may please Her, (depending on if she allows you to talk about your concerns or keep them in a journal) then maybe you could express your feelings about what it is you can do to please her. Now please realize I am not stating that this situation actually exist. I just thought I would throw that in there just in case you were having trouble finding new ways to please Her. I hope this helped in some way.

I know you want me to go off, and everything, but I am in agreement with most of what is here, I have most of what I want in general terms on my profile, if I had to get a little more specific, something on the order of a geisha, but not in kimono all the time, and  not so obtuse  in  many  ways,  someone who will hone her skills in traditional, idealistic and inherent (as I see it) femininity.  I will leave any more detail out, in public forums.

Sorry to have disappointed you , JessieMe......but never fear, I will go  off again, somewhere.......just try  to  not be standing in harms way when it happens.....LOL.

Consistency (not to be confused with numbed-out sameness) counts for a lot. Communicative and expressive are two descriptors I like to be able to apply also. The desire to learn what pleases me and the initiative and drive to actually do those things are precious attributes. A trust-based acceptance of my decisions is also something that really makes me feel good. The single, most important thing to me is willingness and I think that comes from good old-fashioned relationship building.
