Thank you for calling them....I would hate to see something bad happen to you.
Another thing you can carry is hairspray or any kind of toxic spray if your not able to get pepper spray.

I will admit I am paranoid with good reason and have screw drivers handy in the car aswell as one of those huge Mag-Lights,I also carry a hunting knive on the passengers side visor.I have the hairspray too...LOL
I keep My car doors locked at all times when I'm in it.
When walking to My car I have keys between My fingers to jab an eye ball if someone comes at Me,I also have a Swiss Army knife with the blade opened in My purse. You only need 3 inches of blade to seriously hurt someone.

Did I mention I'm prepared...or was that Paranoid?

susan - i have been stalked before and i understand your concern 110%. it is the worst feeling in the world to come "home" and be afraid. if i were you, i would make a police report (just a statement on your feelings) and then if he does follow you or show up at your door, at least the police have it in writing. i would also call the club and see if anyone knows him and report him there as well. good luck to you in this and be safe.

Someone else here on CM runs with Scissors( I forget the name)...
So why cant I walk with a knife...LOL

Inefficiently Paranoid...that means I need more weapons right?

no, actually, you got too many as it is, you're like that soldier going to war with two shotguns, a full machine gun, two sub machine guns, two semi automatic pistols, four revolvers, grenades and grenade launcher, fire thrower, fuel for it, for a total of 4-500 pounds of gear he drags by his teeth through the jungle much to the amusement of the monkeys that manage to buldgeon him to death with coconuts.

you only need one weapon. in extreme cases a weapon and a side arm. pick them and be done with it.

Gee, welcome home from vacation Susan!
Yes to all the above, call the Police and they'll have a car patrol the street more often. Yes, let your neighbors know about the situation as well!
Also, do you have a male relative who could stay with you for a few nights?
I had a stalker once many years ago. Last I heard he walks with a limp.
Someone pulled the oil plug on two of his cars and blew the engines on them.
Poor guy.

Get his license plate number or at least the type and color of his car. Take the note to the police station. Give a description of the guy..For all you know he may be already wanted. Above all, Follow Your Gut feelings!

Wow... sorry to hear of your situation, Susan. My mom taught me all about suspicion and to NOT go home if I think I'm being followed. There's been a lot of good advice said here already. Do tell your neighbors, do give the cops a heads up, do have a friend sleepover, and do have someone go with you to that "BDSM" house to tell them what's going on. Actually, I'd go there first and e-mail your girl friend who was there to see if you can get anymore info before going to the police. Every little bit helps.

Try to find the owner of the club. You can do this by looking up in your local
city and county records who owns the property, their occupational license
registered with the city, and their corporate liicense registered with your
Secretary of State. Contact the owner, or his registerd agent. You can
call your city hall to find out about the owner of the place where you met.
You can search on google for your secretary of state, or call your State
Information Operater. Get this number from directory assistance.

Let the owner know what heppened. He should advise the guy, that if he
ever bothers you or anyone else again, he will be banned from the club.
The guy is probably desperate to find a sub, and has no social skills.
He could very well be dangerous.    If I were you, I'd get my house alarmed.
I'd call the police and ask them what you can do to make your home
more secure.   You might want to get high-security door locks, and
locks for all your windows. I would have all these things in place
anyway.

I'd buy a shotgun, then learn how to use it. Keep your lights on at night,
and a radio or TV playing. Don't buy a guard dog, unless you plan to
keep it for life, and love it like a child. I'd try to get the submissive guy and his
girlfriend to stay with you a month.   Inform the police that someone is stalking
you. Show them the note he left on your door. Try to contact the female
you know from this site and ask her help. Try to find out who the guy is,
where he lives, and what he does for a living. Tell him, if he doesn't
stop harrassing you, you will let all his neighbors know, the police
know, and his boss know just what kind of jerk he is.

Carry a camera and a tape recorder around with you, and photograph
the guy, and try to get his communications with you on tape.

If you see him again, ask for his phone number and say you'd like
to call him. Then when you call him, tell him you've given his phone
number to the police. Try to get the tag number off his car. Tell
him if he doesn't stop bothering you, you will become his biggest
nightmare. Get some guy to threaten him with harm, if he doesn't
stop stalking you.

Hindsight probably tells you that you made two errors that evening. The first was not complaining to the dungeon master when this creep approached you the second time. The second was not calling the police when he followed you home.

Your safety is your primary concern. If anything, you underreacted. I hope you won't be as hesitant the next time something like this happens. The only way to control someone like him is to "nip it in the bud." Never ignore that little voice in your head or feeling in your gut when it comes to your safety.

Never compromise your safety. And never ignore that little voice in your head or feeling in your gut that you may be in danger. The benefit of paranoia is that it keeps you alive.

The only way people like him can be controlled is to take control away from him and at the first opportunity. If anything, you underreacted.
