Learning ( see reading )
Reading ( mostly non fiction now )
Hiking ( the clouds of grasshoppers made this weekend hell)
Horseback riding ( pure heaven )
Gardening ( mostly flowers (I have a growing rose collection) but a small amount of veggies (fresh tomatoes, herbs and my hot peppers). I also have an orchard that is keeping me VERY busy right now.)
Anything spent relaxing with the animals, dogs, horses, and one weird cat ( they often go hiking with me and on photo jaunts)
Photography is a growing passion, I have even actually sold a print (little happy dance)
Painting and sketching ( I used to be good at it but am relearning after ignoring it for 20 years)
Jewelry (dangerous)
Rock collecting ( my yard is beginning to resemble something akin to Stonehenge)
Trying to learn another language ( not sucessfully )
Dreaming and pretend planning, great travels I never get the time and money to do.
Music (only listening, I cannot sing nor play for shit)
When the weather outside is crappy ( movies)
I love having company and cooking for them though it happens rarely
Spending time with T1 and T2, ages 3 and 2 ( I don't care what anyone tells you, being a grandma is WAY cooler than the mom gig was!!)
The computer is just something I am forced to sit in front of at work, and mess around with while doing other things. I do love that I can keep in touch with friends I have from all over the world, AND gain exposure to ideas and ways of life that are in short supply in podunk Iowa.

Geocaching, photography, reading, writing, cross stitiching, traveling (lately) and sword collecting. I am not sure if I should add Karate in there, its not exactly a hobby but it takes up scads of time.

surfing the net, reading all sorts of books- mostly scifi/fantasy/historical mushinees types tho, watching mushy funny action movies, eating ice cream with my best friend, playing with my pussy....cat, learning about whatever has my interest at the moment, playing with my fabric collection planning out quilts ill never make, chatting with friends, *eating* yummy food, gourmet is cool but its even better when the person cooking it does so out of a love for cooking, finding new hobbies that i can dabble in, and then let go for ages and come back to again

I love to read, pretty much anything I can get my hands on.  Fiction, nonfiction, biographies... I can absorb a book in a day.

I love to travel, though I don't really get to do it.

History, mostly ancient.

Music, movies.... I always have something on.

I love to sew, make pillows.

I love to work with my hands.. so pretty much anything that I can do with them makes me very happy.

Writing, painting, crafts..etc.

    My hobbies are:
Cooking and baking, ( it was my profession for over 30 years) now I enjoy doing it for the two special women in my life, my wife and our friend PRDslave.
    Horses
    Model trains
Collecting vintage military uniforms and equipment, mostly U.S. cavalry from the period of the 1840s to the 1940s when horse cavalry was disbanded. Also Scottish regimental uniforms of the 19th century and early 20th century. ( you do not want to see me in a kilt!!!LOL)
and last but by far not least, listening to my wife play beautiful music on her viola as well as listen to her sing, she nails "Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen".
