DiurnalVampire -> RE: ginger root - fact or myth (8/20/2006 9:13:42 PM)

From what I heard from a sub male friend of mine, it was the most intense thing he has ever done, nearly a whole body orgasm that went on for nearly the whole scene.  However, its also something he never wants to try again.

My 2 cents

It sounds to me that the effect the ginger has on a particular sub varies quite a bit...i for one would enjoy trying it again now that i know the feeling:)

MistressJaid -> RE: ginger root - fact or myth (8/24/2006 1:46:46 AM)

It is FACT.  I have played with it several times now...Yes, if the ginger is old, it won't work well, but if the ginger is fresh...it burns for just a few minutes after you take it out off the anus. Do Not lub if you going to play with ginger.
What you do is carve a peice of ginger like a butt plug.. I tired string on it, just in case it was drawn in,  you will thank me later for that little hit.
Oh..the burn isn't that bad, use it in your sceen. Have fun all, play safe

Well Mistress Jaid, I am here to say You are right...I have had my second experience with ginger root and have to say it was much better than the first time...maybe the ginger was fresher, maybe my expectations made the difference, I don't really know...but it was a very good feeling this time around.

And it was a good "warm-up" for what followed as well;)
Thanks again for Your input.

I'm not impressed with figging; it's not strong enough.  Give me toothpaste, even...ginger is hardly worth the effort to peel it.  I punched a hole in it, btw...and attached a string; a definate must!

Edited to add:

However...the peanut butter & ginger (from a tube!  not leftovers...ewwwww)  was REALLY good!  I love peanut butter with hot pepper jelly and tried this and found it quite spicy; delightful and well worth THAT effort!!!

Ginger is used by herbalist for stomach disfunctions like nausea and vomiting.  It is best to make tea with it for best results.  As for sexual benefits... none that I know of.

Wild, I completely agree about the pickled ginger and the wasabi.  I'm not really a food fetish person, but at one vanilla dinner in a sushi resturant my ex-sub was getting a little too talkitive about our lifestyle, so later when my friends went off the the bathroom I smeared half of the wab I had left on an oh, so sensitive spot.  Shut her up right away, and I never had teh problem again!

LOL, a carmative, yes.

joyinslavery -> RE: ginger root - fact or myth (8/30/2006 10:24:37 PM)

I vote myth.  Everyone knows ginger is best enjoyed with some fresh sushi, premium soy sauce, wasabi and fine sake.

Edited because I'm a loser.

I'm getting limp just thinking about it.

Emperor1956 -> RE: ginger root - fact or myth (8/30/2006 11:53:56 PM)

Its not a myth, or a fact.  Its very variable.  I've figged 4 or 5 submissives with fresh ginger and gotten "results" from OH WOW to ho hum.  I don't know what causes the different reactions.  It isn't related to skin pigment or allergies or sensitivity as best as I can tell.

I haven't "pegged" what causes the variation...a creamy skinned red head who can't wear any metals in her body but niobium or surgical stainless steel because of extreme metal allergies found it mildly stingy and dull; a blonde with very fair skin and all sorts of sun sensitivity found it totally ineffective, yet a brunette with no known skin sensitivities went thru the roof after the plug was in for about 5 minutes, and kept squirming, burning, crying and begging for about an hour (and this was NOT a girl who gave it up easily.)

So, I usually introduce it to a girl at some point...and if she isn't aroused ... we have stir fry later.

E.

(Edited to clarify:  Stir fry with the REST of the ginger hand.  Don't be digusting!)

It's famously used with Horses, to make them look more saleable

But usually, it's not raw ginger but a ginger salve, based in petroleum jelly.

And depending on what show circuits you're in, it's also illegal as hell if you're caught using it.  Folks I used to show with growing up used to use it on their arabs in halter classes, but you had to be real careful because the judges were always looking for evidence of it.  Personally, I prefer a natural tail carriage.....and less damaging ways to penetrate and gain the attention of my subject!
