Just one quick look at men's chastity belts is enough to make you shudder at such antihuman invention of the mankind. British and German women, however, feel free to make their husbands wear genital irons before letting them leave for work. The most horrible thing about it is that "cuffed" men do not give way to despair: they easily communicate with other men, who have their penises locked up in their pants. Chastity belts pose only one problem for their owners - men feel shy to use public toilets.

Men's chastity belts were invented for the first time in England, at the end of the 19th century. The Victorian epoch generated terrifying devices to subdue the lustful nature of a man. Chastity belts became popular with men only a few years ago. The advantage of wearing a chastity belt was exposed to men of the world in 2002. Salzburg lawyer Henrich Firshman was accused of sexual harassment at work. The lawyer's wife told the judge that the suit filed against her husband was groundless, because the man had been wearing a chastity belt at work for two years. The belt was presented at the court - it looked quite worn out. In addition, forensic experts proved that the belt was worn by Firshmen. The chastity belt saved the man's career and relieved him of the need to pay thousands of euros of penalties.

About 30,000 European men come to work wearing chastity belts nowadays. This astounding Puritanism during the age of sexual revolution has been probably caused with people's wish to be 100 percent sure of their faithfulness. It is noteworthy that women wear chastity belts in such families too.

Chastity belts are presumably worn by gigolos. European women have a fondness for hiring young men from developing countries for sexual favors. Women pay them 500 euros a month, but they also make their young studs wear chastity belts to protect them against their own frivolous behavior.

According to websites, which sell men's chastity belts, modern gigolos are ready to stand any humiliation for money. Experienced gigolos advise amateurs to ask for expensive plastic chastity belts from their women. Plastic belts, they say, do not jingle and more importantly - they do not cause any inconveniences with metal detectors in stores and airports.

Specialists of medicine say, however, that chastity belts are very harmful to men. They are very tight and rigid; they may block blood flow and cause painful edema, tissue numbness and even temporal impotence. Women's chastity belts are a lot less problematic - they do not exert any negative influence on the sexual function of a woman.

There are many std's out there these days ,and for women, always the possibility of rape. Many more belts are worn by women to prevent rape than anything else you know. I have heard the frivolous argument that the rapist may react to not getting what he wants by killing the woman wearing one-but you have to realize that in third world countries, being raped is worse to most than dying.

You seem to think that the assurance of faithfullness outside of the home is a bad thing....Is it because you feel men are being castrated by this practice? Or are you more offended by the fact it is males, rather than females, being so confined?

I personally see it as a good thing, considering thje vast numbers of cheaters out there. At least thier wives know they won't be brining a dose of the clap,or hiv home with them.

Ahhhhh, this is just a copy of an article that appeared in an on-line newspaper I read, Express Gazeta. In case you missed it, this section is called "Lifestyles in the News".

But if you want my opinion, any need for a full time chastity belt regardless of the sex indicates a lack of trust. For me in this lifestyle, without trust there is no relationship. Mental and emotional "Faithfulness" is as much if not MORE important to me than physical. But even if there was an emotional chastity belt on the market, feeling I needed it would indicate my failure as a Master.

I don't espouse use of a chastity belt for either sex. That said, as a humiliation tool, as a physical reminder of orgasm denial punishment, or just for 'fun' I can appreciate their use.

I've always thought it would be cool to find a woman who put me in one as part of my servitude to her (or obedience). It's a great fantasy.

I think I'd actually find it amusing if a woman who caught her husband cheating became his "keyholder" as part of the condition of staying married.

But I agree, if you need to go that far,it's probably already too late.

Better to let the courts castrate them finacially.

OK, let me get this straight. Men get paid to wear chastity belts in Germany?

I wonder if I could also get bonus for wearing a butt plug to sleep?

I'll please take a one-way ticket to Berlin.

Very interesting. I wonder how widespread this practice is in America. With our reluctance to talk about such issues, I'm sure there are more people than you might think wearing chastity belts here.

i have mixed feelings about chastity devices. On one hand, it seems like good way to keep a male sub's sexual behaviors under contol. i could see it certainly bringing one of my behaviors under control really fast, which would probably be a good thing for me in the long run.

But the public restroom aspect puts it in a different light. i wouldn't say i have a phobia of public restrooms, but a righteous hatred of them based on previous employment would be accurate. guys just wreck bathrooms and urinals are a big convience vs. toilets.

personally, i'd hope She'd trust me that at some point that it wasn't needed at all. i dunno, i'm still sort of intrigued by it, it might be an interesting experience for a while.

I could never never require my husband to wear one to work. Not because of my submission to him, but because I trust him completely. I don't think telling your husband that you trust him that little is anyway to stay married. Yes, STD's are horrible. Yes there are a lot of cheaters out there. I suppose that if it had happened once already and you sought to keep it from happening again.... but I think if you've fallen that far, just get a divorce.
An interesting side study would be to see how many couples... took it a little further. From chastity belt to learther. ;)
Just to be clear, I see no problem with men who want to be in chastity belts, i have a problem with trusting your spouce that little.

For a large number of people involved with chastity, it has nothing at all to do with trust. For many of them, it is about control. If you're forced to resort to making your partner wear a chastity device because they can't be trusted, the relationship has issues that no plastic or steel device will ever fix.

Surely someone in a chastity belt can still be sexually harassing.

That's basically what I ment. If you like and want the power exchange of a chastity device, by all means have fun. However if you feel you have to put one on your significant other because you don't trust them... you're relationship is doomed.

-=smiles and tosses Her two and a half cents into this thread=-

As a Female Dominant who has and continues to use these devices I have to say if you are looking for a way to trust the one you are putting into chastity this isn't going to work... -=smiles=- as others have already said in their O/own words, this relationship is already in trouble. A relationship without trust .... -=ponders this=- I don't know but for Me this is not really a relationship, well not a healthy one at least.

I have boys who have begged for chastity, they want to be put into these delightful little cock traps... -=winks=- I have to say that a big part of what I want and will take is control over when, where and how a boy will be permitted to become aroused and to orgasm. Once I am the Mistress, I own that little dangley bit, and all the others bits too. They are for My enjoyment, which of course will in the end be the enjoyment of the one Owned.... mmm got to love how it all comes together...

So used under what in My opinion is the right circumstance, these little babies are very HOT. if you seek someone to control you... this is one huge area of control. What once was your toy now belongs to someone else. Gone are those morning erections... those times when you could just give it a few long slow strokes are gone too... and now you will wait till you see that key in your Owners hand and believe Me, when that little trap comes off.... the feelings will be unlike those you had before.

Just My 2 1/2 cents

till soon

To answer your question of men getting paid to wear chastity belts in Germany, the answer is no! The article states that European women pay men, for hire, for their sexual favors, but they also make them wear the chastity belts. This is not to say that they are paid to wear the chastity belts.

LMAO ... that's exactly what sissy thought when he read the OP, proudsub. sissy Had to re-read the OP twice looking for references to this guy actually being accused of physical rape. That point seems to have gone right past everyone posting on this thread. sissy Guesses it's just another example of "lawyer think" taking precedence over common sense, just like Clinton's lawyers appear to have convinced most people that fellatio is not sex!

Great post FireWalker.

Use of a male chastity device keeps me sexually aroused, and keenly aware of my key-holders sexuality and expectations.
It elevates my devotion, submissiveness and sexual attraction for her. Everything about her becomes more feminine. I am not very submissive but that changes almost immediately after I am locked in. After waiting for a week or two the intensity emotion and passion makes the wait worthwhile.

Bob

General reply -

Male subs/slaves are commonly put into chastity devices as a measure of control and as a reminder of their being owned by the Dominant.  Metal devices seem less practical with all of the metal detectors in buildings and airports.  Plastic seems the easier alternative to avoid having a strip search going through security.  The public restroom aspect is something to consider though.

Don't most men's restrooms have separate toilet stalls in addition to open urinals?
I will leave it to the men to answer this one rather than conduct an investigative search.

For us, it is more a physical reminder that I gave her "ownership" of my bits and an way to remember that during the day.  Yes, there are "covenants"  such as it can't be permanently damaged, but we're in agreement on that...she likes to use those bits in many other ways too!

Giving her that ownership was part of that trusted relationship we have with one another.   I'd wear it on trips as well, even if they were extended trips.  Those little plastic tag-locks got me through the airport just fine.  Numbered and initialed and fun for her to remove when I would return!

We recently have returned from a hiatus in our activities (see the journal for that info) and have started back up having fun again!
So we started  back up and on Monday I started wearing the CB2000, with the large Points of Intrigue (the S&M part of the deal!) and the keeper insert.  Clicked and locked, with Mrs. Crush holding the key, carrying it with her as part of HER rememberance of the exchange of trust and power.

For us, it is just part of the fun as well.   I'm just wondering when she'll think "Ya know, that remote dog shock collar thingy...can you hook that up too?" as we head out to someplace or to play poker somewhere.

Wotta woman....

Chastity devices aren't so much about trust for me as about control.  When I hold the key, I get to decide when, where and how those parts get used.  The possibility that the boy wearing it may be embarassed to use a urinal and may be forced to use a stall, well, that's just bonus points, isn't it?

I don't  think this would be very popular with guys in Lebanon or Afghanistan but that's just a wild guess.
