CollaredLilPet -> Possible Ailment that's NOT an STD, but simply a fluke (12/27/2004 4:24:54 PM)

i am new to the scene. just recently taken under the wing of a wonderful Domme. However a few weeks ago i came down with the STRANGEST illness. although, i now have a Domme i am also married to a straight man. we do not swing and i have no lovers other than he and Mistress. he and i, before we ventured into the lifestyle, still like a lil bit of kink now and then. several days after my ovulation started last month i got these horrid cramps. it went on for two days before i was doubled over in pain, taken to the hospital, poked, prodded, injected with morphine (which to my dismay didn't even work), ultrasounded, the whole nine fricken yards. i found out the ailment was cervicitis. my cervix was inflamed. The common cause of this is clamidea (pardon the mispell there) or gonoreah (mispell there too?). The doctor said 95% of people with this problem have an STD of some sort from some various partner. But, that for me was not only improbable, but impossible. My husband and i are both clean of everything. So then came the other 5%. He said that any vaginal intrusion or a rough or unclean object could cause this nasty lil booger of a pain. *light goes off* SEX TOYS. Let me put this into perspective. i got an infection with pain the magnitude of apendicitis because my husband fingered me too vigorously and then used a dildo that had not been cleaned properly. Please, Sirs and Ma'ams and all the subbies, take care of your partners and your toys... STD's and yeast infections are common... but as it has been addressed other places on here, the sneaky bugs are the ones that will really F*ck you up in the long run...
