I know it may sound very basic, but i am interested in what ive heard being called a Gorean lifestyle. Is there anoyone who may explain this to me, or recommend a book which may be helpful? thank you in advance.

Gor srarted as a set of books good there must be close to twenty of them
the real experts can corect me but they came out in the late 70's and ran for a number of years.
there was a number of authors.
and its based on a counter earth.
well anyway some folks liked the idea so much they desided to live the life style.
I suggest you lookup the books and read a few...
PS I realy liked the first 10 or so...not so much the later ones

Gor started actually with John Norman and His Writings BEFOR the Gor Series and there are 26 currently with 27 books that had been planned.

Actually the first book was written in the late 50s but due to the One Author John Normans Work being black booked and banned during revolutionary times in the USA (the 60s) it was 20 years later befor He gained the ability to have His books Published after much protest by many people of His being blackballed. There were many large protests on college campuses during the 60s in fighting for this Mans rights that were being taken away at that time in history and it is what has made His work a icon with in the Sci Fi Circles today.

There was only One Author and that was John Norman. There however are several Publishers and the books have been rewritten 6 times by those different Publishers with slight differances in all of them OKed by the Author and they are also written in 16 other langages as well.

Alltho Ubar Luthers Site on Gor is a Grand site it is not the Authors Opinions nor works but the Master Luthers Opinion based with in His Idea of Gor. I feel that needs to be clear for those whom seek out GOR. There are many Lifestylers Opinions posted on the WWW about Gor.JMO
