hi, massage therapist here. this may have been covered, but its important. you need a carrier oil to neutralize the strong oils to prevent blistering. brief horror story. my friend,a spa manager, went for raindrop therapy. this uses pure essential oils along the spine, drop by drop, very soothing and feels interesting. the esthetician(my spelling is poor) hadnt done this procedure many times. She spilled a bottle of Thyme oil dowm my friends ass crack,to be blunt. they tried to wipe the oil off,no dice. tried to wash it off,no good. for 3 days her entire peri-anal regien was burned. puffy, red, blistered and raw feeling. no sex for Her! if the silly twits had kept some olive oil, sesame oil or the special oil just for this purpose that Young Living makes, they could have just dripped that down the same path, no burns. this is taught in every reputable class on raindrop therapy. duh. sorry to wax pedantic, but blisters arent fun,for most folks, anyway.if its your trip, hit it,babe!
