Well, I found out how to choose/upload an avatar. Now could someone help with how to get rid of that disGUSTING little 'vanilla' label next to or under it? ;)

I've seen some great avatars, too. One of my favs is the set of xmas lights, (although I can't remember whose it was, now.)

It's a rank that indicates how often you post here.

It will change as you post more.

It means nothing more than that you are a new poster here and no one applies the rank to anything but the fact that you are merely a new face here on the boards.

In other words, don't sweat it.

Hi Dyna,
The vanilla label sticks with you until you've posted over 25 messages. But the messages don't have to be very meaningful. For example, you could tell me how nice a smile I have, and you're 1 post further along. [;)]

If it helps any, we all know that the vanilla people rarely are. Most of us are kind of tuti-fruti (at least) [sm=lol.gif]

Thanks, Mistress Dyna. Glad you like my avatar. Although it's pretty well understood that most do not care for the vanilla status symbol, the symbols displayed really mean nothing at all other than signifying that you are new to posting at the forum, or just do not post often. Just remain active in posting and replying and you'll see that the symbols will be replaced by others soon enough. Just be careful to stick to the topic of the threads you choose to reply to so as not to unintentionally spam the boards. [;)] Reading the guidelines/rules offered at each section of the sections prior to posting for the first time may be helpful. [;)]

Very true, smile2cu ... and ... try to remember that any Mod could decide that the less than meaningful post fits thier definition of spam, & that they can & may bump the 'spammer' right back to 'vanilla'. Kind of like one step forward, two steps back. Careful, now ... [;)]

It's not the emblem. It's a similar triskele design, but it isn't the "official" BDSM Emblem.

I don't think she was objecting to the icon, just to the "vanilla" label.

I kind of like vanilla...
And rocky-road, tuti-fruiti and all the rest. Just 'cause we're into BDSM doesn't mean we can't enjoy good vanilla sex.

P.S. Dyna, I still recommend more frequent posts, to get you out of the vanilla category. Surely you have something at least as relevant as this to say? [sm=rolleyes.gif]
