Happy new year He said, as He was watching her on the phone,

Happy new year He said, as i realized how alone i really was,
Happy new year i thought, He cares more about her than me,
Happy new year i thought, as i finally fell asleep around three,
Happy new year i thought, as something woke me up at five,
Happy new year i thought, but the phone call never came,
Happy new year i thought, last year when it was just us,
Happy new year i thought, this could be the year of change,
Happy new year i thought, but it only turned into a mistake,
Happy new year i thought, as my heart filled up with hate,
Happy new year i thought, i hope something goes wrong,
Happy new year i thought, how could He be such a bastard,
Happy new year i thought, He would never leave me alone,
Happy new year i thought, because at some point they walked through His door,
Happy new year i thought, as i woke up this morning and realized what probably happened last night
Happy new year she thought, while she was on the cross being whipped and tied,
Happy new year she thought, when she was with Him safe, on my side of the bed,
being where i was suppose to be, but there was no effort made or said.
My life no longer feels complete, my heart and soul is broken, why try to be His slave, when someone else will only do better. Age isn't important yet He's making these plans with her because she's older, i have to serve her, i have to go beyond my limits, all for the sake of His happiness. It's what He wants, It's what He'll get, because unless I keep my mouth shut and just serve i loose Him. So happy new year, hopefully yours will turn out better than mine did. Hopefully you all have someone who cares about you, and doesn't use you for the wrong reasons. So Happy New Year, i hope you never have to experience what i have
