Which would you say is the most duplicated thread topic? (Multiple selections ARE enabled on this Poll.)
i say "if it's been posted twice, it's been posted ONE too many. It's your best friend, use it, use it often and use it well (NO, not your B.O.B. .... am talking about the search function here .... tsk.. tssk .. tssskk. )
P.S. This thread was brought to you by Moleculor ( ) & his hinting at there not being much possiblity left for new topics:
quote:

If everyone ran a search to see if a topic had been covered before posting, the forums would eventually cease to exist.

Long live the forums !!

Darn .. i wanted to add a couple more ... was limited to ten selections.

A few more ideas i can think of for new topics to be added:

1. What is the proper title to be used in addressing Merc? ($2,000 question here).
2. Who is the cat on this board with the most coveted ass? (Bonus Round)
13. Who is the official thread jerker of the forums? Can you do a better job? (heh .. i think NOT).
14. Which submissive displayed two cuffs while still a newbie? (roflmao .... shhhh... i'm innocent i tell ya...)
15. On what day in history were the more commonly known regs of the collarme forums subjected to a few days of tortureous chat sessions amoung common trolls & lamers with having no other resource for interaction? (Gotta love the ones who entered and typed "/nick Guest999" in an attempt to change their IDs).

Excuse me. i got carried away ... just finished watching Jeopardy.

Any more replies i post regarding this thread will be added HERE. i got two cuffs & i'm KEEPING them.

I think the most asked question on the board's is. What is the difference between sub and slaves?

Or....what is gor?

Two subjects that can become very heated as they are pretty much dear to all of us. We have opinions and they rarely are going to be changed.

It's either What Is Gor or What Is Old Guard. And after all the threads on both, we still the hell don't know.

Oh my cynnacent i know the answer to number 15 becuase i couldnt beleive some of the conversations i watched on the chat thingy - made me realise i love the forums so much more and then there were those who couldnt actually follow the simple instructions as to how to change a nick - maybe im just getting old :-)

Im not too worried about spelling or grammar issues becuase there are so many differences between countries and cultures and i can speak fluent typo but i always wondered how come the USA being a major world leader STILL hasnt come to grips with metrics - hey maybe i need to start a thread.................

Is the one topic which says avatar help mean asking how to change the "vanilla" under their name. If not, that one needs to be added lol.

1. What is the proper title to be used in addressing Merc? ($2,000 question here).

When beth came to wake me with my coffee this morning she told me about this. As a result I am on the computer earlier then usual for a Sunday. Going back to a recent post about titles replied to as "Just Merc", I was concerned that confusion could reign. Since $2,000 was involved, I thought that I had to deal with this quickly.

It's now 2005. Without a proper billboard who will proclaim your glory. I had already succumbed, my car has vanity plates. (Interestingly - they are my name, guess I'm still not quite 'cured'. ) I don't want to be left behind in the lifestyle any longer. I've come to realize that having a title is essential. "Emperor Merc" may have been an attempt at mirth, but now I realize it was my deeper self screaming for attention.

The problem is, I always found titles before names to be juvenile. But my 'muse' again must have found the strength to enter my conscience when I posted as "Just Merc". Because this morning, when beth woke me with this, an idea immerged as the solution meeting ALL the dichotomies of Me.

I've decided my title to be in the spirit of other 'outside the box thinkers; Eric The Red, Ivan The Terrible, James the Lesser, Genghis the Kahn, Winnie the Pooh, Kermit the Frog, and James the Kirk.

The "Official Title" for addressing Merc........

MERC The JUST

Just wanted you all to know I thought this out for some time. I even considered the 'of' mode for a bit, you know; Kennedy's of Hyannis, Purveyor of Faith, Wizard of Oz, Duke of Earl, Isle of Man (Gay-I think I would have picked this), Sultan of Swat, Bay of Pigs, Queen of England, Jesus of Nazareth (Was there a 'Jesus of Palestine' who got his mail?)

HA! And BOTH are topics in which the adage "Less is More" would fit well.

This is too funny. I may have spewed coffee on my monitor, wait, that's not coffee....

Someone once referred to me as "Queen of the Known Universe" to which I replied "Just the KNOWN universe?."

Some of us can NEVER be satisfied.

How about "Pro Dommes (or "Money Dommes") are Whores and Rip Offs" and all the derivatives thereof? It was one of the earliest threads here, within the first 5 I think (but then I'm not using the search feature) and continues to come up regularly. It's most recent incarnation is a pitiful attempt to tag it an empirical study.

Silly me, I see it's been done (Domme's for Pay complaints).

I really must start paying attention to the actual POLL instead of just the conversation surrounding it. My mistake and apologies for being REDUNDANT!

I have to go alone with Gloria and Estring. "What is Gor?", "What is Old Guard?" and "the difference between sub & slave?". *heavy sigh*

Take care,

Perhaps Yeshu'a ha Notzri in hebrew would be more esoteric than Jesus of Nazareth......just the eric cartmann in me. That would have been my name Eric of Cartmann had I the foresight. I think most all your posts are worth reading Mercnbeth.
