Its like some one put a suction cup down there and ...... whoosh!  Its like 3 times the normal size.  My poor little lips!

It started like this.. i got alittle over eager washing it with a bar of soap.. Ever had soap on the inner lips of yer punani.. down towards the cave entrance?  Well it can burn.. and so it burned!  Aaaaaaaaah..  So well i suppose i gave myself an infection.. i dunno.  i've had a yeast infection before.. and the only "symptom" i had was it ITCHED.

And girls you know what its like when yer clit starts to itch.....  Itch itch itch.. aaaaaaah.. itch itch itch aaaaaaah... owwwwwwww

So i TRIED not to itch it.. but i did.  then i had this bright idea to put some monistat cream on it!  And well....

i dunno if its the itching.. or the monistat cream... (oh and last night i took one of those infection be gone in ONE day things)

and it WASNT swollen yesterday....

But today, its ballooned up.  Doesnt it!  But it HUUUUUUURRRRRRRRTSSSSS.  Swollen and painful.

So, acephetmaine aka tylenol or excedrin (dunno remember) is supposed to be an anti inflammatory thing..

So i've downed 3 1/2 of those.  Baby wipes and very careful soaping (hehehehe)

any other ideas on what to do for my poooor pooooooor little punani?

Cold wash cloths, blot...do not rub or itch.  Also, take some benadryl (by mouth, if you are itching, otherwise don't take it).  If it doesn't heal soon, have a doctor look at it.  Also, monistat cream can cause reactions in some people - that stuff is strong.

I'd say just off-hand that you have a chemical burn-reaction to the contents of the soap. If it's on the inside of the labia, I'd recommend using collodial oatmeal from the pharmacy on the innerlips and clit. Be brave, ask your pharmacist about some across the counter remedies for the reaction.

LOL, I don't know why, but that post just cracked me up.  Don't panic, seems like you have simply exacerbated a minor problem with your attempted "cures."

The oatmeal idea seems like a good one, give yourself a soak with it in tepid water.  Most important----keep your hands off the kitty girl!  It's probably going to continue to itch as it heals.  If you just can't stand it anymore--drag out a thickish pair of panties (you know, the "period panties"  we keep in the back of the drawer, put em on, grab a bag of frozen peas from the freezer and place the bag over the ummmmmmmmm affected area.  It should ease the itch and bring down the swelling.

Three important notes::::::::;;;

1.  Don't plop the bag of peas on your naked skin (cuz it will be way too cold)
2.  Don't eat the peas (grin)
3.  Close your drapes (cuz anyone peeking through the window will think you have lost your mind)

Good luck to you and your punani

Well good news.......

it doesnt itch anymore.  it JUST HURTS.  Omg!  i walk funny.  See its the inner lips.. and they've swollen so much they're bigger then my outer lips.. like they protrude.

It hurts too much to itch.. whatever the monistat did to me.. it stopped the itch LOL

Now it just huuuuuuuuurts.....  and is swollllllennnn.  omg.  My pooooor poor Punani.

i had a friend recommend desitin.  So um, i'm trying that now.. heh.

Gawd if i could just make the swelling go down.. i can feel ever swelled bit.. and anything "touching" it is like omg.  So i'm walking around in really bag sweat pants trying to keep it untouched.. which isnt easy as i sit here.  (imagine how i'm sitting) as its overly swelled.

So, ask a pharmacist about oatmeal stuff and anything else, soak and add frozen veggies?

i sort of think its the monistat that made it swell.  I wasnt swelled LAST NIGHT.. itched abit.. added a goober load of monistat and went night night.

Anything else that makes the swelling go down?

That was funny!, but seriously speaking, you can't wash that area with any soap, because: 1. As leatherorlace said, it can cause a bad skin reaction, due to the chemicals in the soap against the delicated tissue there.
2. The ph of normal soap is different from that zone, and it will assure you a fungus infection, which can cause a UTI.

So, unless is a soap specially made or some special medicine to give relief  for that zone, the only thing you can use is water. And it seems to me that you just have a bad skin irritation, so you're just gonna have to hold on there with a couple of ice cubes, a comfy position and a good and long book.

You can't wash your crotch with soap???? You can only use water???? Is this common? I have to tell you....I've been washing my crotch with soap for 44 years now and I have never had an issue. Am I alone? I have never even heard of anyone who didn't wash with soap.

::refusing to give up my soap by god::::::

I don't think the soap is the culprit here.  She says in her original post that she got a little over eager with the initial cleaning.  I think she simply irritated the area at first.  Seems like the follow-up activities like zealous scratching, pouring liquid plumber (just kidding) on it and all that jazz is what has led to the current condition.

She just did it yesterday so I don't really see the need to rush to the emergency room quite yet (unless of course her pussy explodes)....

Disclaimer.......................

1.  I am not a pussy doctor nor do I play one on tv
2.  I am not a chemist so I don't know how various ointments interact with each other (although my mother always warned me not to mix amonia with bleach)
3.  I find it ironic that I glanced at my own tv and they are airing a vagisil ad at this very moment....................

god bless the punani

Monistat can cause severe allergic reaction, which is what this sounds like. As well as perfumed soaps. I only use Dove for sensitive skin and have never had a problem. Never use any perfumed soap in that area and Monistat is only to be used for yeast infections.

You may try cool compresses with water and take a benadryl. Then go to the doctor when you can.

mistoferin,

Normal and common soap is terrible for that zone, unless the ph of the soap matches the ph of your crotch. And there is special soaps made to have a right daily hygiene!

I can't use just any soap my self. It gives me a really bad irritation and since I was a little girl I have to take care of catching any type of infections, due to a bad kidney medical record. And, as the doctors have always told me, regular soap, shampoo or whatever product is really bad for the health of that zone because it kills all sorts of bacteria, including the kind of bacteria that helps you prevent infections.

Some people are highly sensitive in that area.  I remember taking monistat once and I had to douche it out of me with water, I was in so much misery, the cure was much worse than the yeast infection.  I don't recommend using anything else down there.  Just some cold compresses, you have no idea what started this and adding more things could make it worse.

if it's anything topical..plain cider vinegar ,diluted and used as a rinse will soothe your skin and it's safe..pat yourself dry afterwards..and if it "burns " a little it will be temporary..please try this and let me know if it  helps
don't  use zinc oxide because as well as it keeps stuff out it also holds stuff in.
i have had a yeast infection every time i use keflex..it causes my poor goody parts to swell
but i can not  ..can not imagine what has caused your dilema.
please keep us posted.
because we are all nosy,
and, i for one will have swollen labia on my mind for awhile now..
i can not imagine an internal reason for  your swelling...
unless you got hold of some serious goat weed
.
