i was wonderring if anyone [else] had trouble accessing funds due them, that a state held. if so- how did they fix it,

a long shot question, but what the heck,.....

I have gotten some that Texas was holding for me. Once I go the forms in the mail (took almost two months) and sent them back, I had to call their office twice to ensure that they recieved my claim and it was being processed.  Just make sure that the paperwork is filed and get the names of everyone you talk to and just keep at it.

thanks for your post.

my family has been wining over this item for about 6 years. since they just republished the database, yadda yadda.  so im taking action- whatever the outcome ild like it resolved.

I had no trouble getting a small amount that was owed me.  We found another small amount owed my deceased father and decided it wasn't worth the trouble to send in the death certificate then divide the small sum among the heirs.
