another difference between these enemas mentioned is the volume administered. for anal play, O/one doesn't need to clean more than the rectum. this is the area in between the sphincters. the outer, voluntary sphincter is what is commomly called the asshole, the inner sphincter is controlled by the nervous system and is farther up in the rectum, where it meets with the descending colon. the rectum, besides being a favorite sex toy in this scene, is simply a holding chamber for feces, fists and other fun implements. when the waste matter passes through the involuntary sphincter and enters the rectum, a person feels a strong urge to eliminate. this is because the rectum is a highly innervated area, and that is why people get so much pleasure/pain from the stimulation of this area.
for anal play, cleaning the rectum is generally enough. there was so good advice mentioned about the bulb syringe. IMPORTANT! when expelling fluids from a bulb syringe, keep pressure on the syringe until it is once again removed from the body. don't ruin Y/your playtime by inadvertantly sucking tender tissue into the syringe. :)
and now for the precious jewel that was not mentioned previously. i have heard it being called a dry enema. it is accomplished by introducing a small amount of lubricant into the rectum, resulting in a bowel movement more quickly and with less violence than can be accomplished by an oral laxative.
it is less time consuming than the water enema and not as toilet centered, because the matter comes out in one smooth mass rather than shooting out, tsunami style, as happens with a larger volume liquid enema, and even the fluid from the bulb syringe in significantly messier.
yet another advantage during play is the fact that had been previously mentioned by Robin1, it is hard to lube the wet surfaces. a good half hour of draining is needed to protect the top (and toys, and furniture) from foul poopy anal leakage.
the dry enema utilizes the injection of a small amount of water-based lubricant such as K-Y into the rectum with a non-hypodermic syringe, such as an oral syringe - available in most drugstores.
the amount of lubricant applied is about 2 tsp. (10 CC), which will produce a movement in 30 minutes or less. the movement will be expelled in a compact body, rather than in the more volumous liquid form produced by a wet enema.
a further advantage of this technique is that any slight remaining traces of fecal material will, due to the presence of the lubricant, tend to adhere to the wall of the rectum rather than to any foreign object which may later be inserted for fun.
there are many ways to clean a butt!
