It may also help if you eat properly before you play. I've noticed a huge difference with my partners if I feed them heavily on protein a half hour before play, the protein has time to break down and infuse your body with fuel that won't be gone moments after the high arrives. Sugar goes away too quickly, so eat heavily of protein before and juice or gatoraid after. Exercise in the day after, of course, makes a huge difference as well.

Now that I am once again feeling myself, I just want to take a moment to say thank you all for your thoughts and ideas. I have never really been the kind of person who reaches for a bottle of pills to deal with a problem. I was amazed at the number of responses that were given that were of a more natural approach. This was EXACTLY what I was hoping for. As I stated in my original post, this has been a recurring problem that has plagued me for years, and after reading the responses it seems that I am not alone in this boat. I have jotted down all of the suggestions that everyone has given and will experiment a bit with them to see what ones really seem to work well for me. I will get back to you all and let you know so that maybe others can find relief also. Once again thank you, all of your responses were greatly appreciated, both by Sir and myself.

I wanted to offer a thank you to some of the suggestions given, as sub drop has been a problem for me in the past, sometimes only slight, other times quite severe (although I haven't been able to really figure out the difference why).

However, after reading some of the suggestions here, I kept them in mind after a play session last Saturday, and made sure starting Sunday to do a good yoga session, as well as some other exercise, although I must admit it wasn't easy because I felt drained from playing. I did the yoga first and I think that it helped to give me a sort of wake-up boost so I could do what I would call a moderate work out, and only for about 20 minutes after the yoga. (Helpful tip thanks to Lady Shoshin.)

I also tried the suggestion of chocolate, (thank you Suleiman) and did this in the form of a protein/nutrition bar (two a day) that I typically eat anyway and are chocolate loaded.

I also have recently started a "natural" supplement that is supposed to aid with energy and stress relief.

I can say that although the play on Saturday was intense, the drop after the fact has been considerably lessened. I'm not quite sure which of the above helped, but hey, I'm just glad for all the suggestions to try!!!

Thanks again all and glad I can give a testimonial too!
