Does anyone have any suggestions on treatment (or pre-treatment) for bleeding hemmoroids?  I have a part-time who shortly after I put in my freestanding cross begins to bleed with the slightest stress. (He absolutely adores being in my cross.)  I'm considering putting a saline soaked tampon in him to help prevent his "outbreak".   Any other ideas?

Thanks for your suggestion - been there, done that.  My immediate problem, of course, is what to do with him????????  LOL - sit him in the corner maybe?

Maybe try ice pops (popsicles made with pure or maybe slightly saline water, NO SUGAR!), but really, getting those puppies cauterized by the doctor is the best remedy.

ice, then perhaps a little topical anaesthetic if you have any on hand, then vaseline. short term vaseline will stop the bleeding.

however this is only short term, he's going to need to have them removed unfortunately

There is only one real salution to the bleeding and it has to be coterised in a doc's office .The bleeding is caused by a fissure or tear in the effected area .I think its called silver nitrates  , they can also be used aswell as perscrition creams and supositories .Other than banding or surgical procedures thats all that will help in advanced cases . Home remedies  like epsom salts  hot sits baths and  exterior ice and OTC creams will help some .No lifting or straining or the problem will worsen .the biggest thing is the change in diet and adding fiber therapy .Often they will shrink and heal on their own  by aking the diet changes  and allowing them to heal .I would not suggest incertion of ice  or tampons .Ice only externaly for short periods of time .

this won't go away on its own, you're going to have to drag him off and get him in to see the doc.  last thing you want is complications from other tears or a bad rupture, even infection can be a threat to his health.  we had a similar problem, the advice given was no insertables until after surgery and complete healing.  works just fine now!

He's got to get them fixed. The last one I had done was rubber banded, then sitz baths for 3 or four days to feel better until it had fallen off.

Mone have gone away on their own twice now...after both of my last pregnancies.

Use witch hazel every time you go to the bathroom, dont spend the extra money to buy the pads, buy a huge pack of makeup remover wipe, usually 100 for $1 and a bottle of witchhazel, usually under a $1. Clean with them constantly. Use a sitz bath too. Take a stool softner like colace, and up the fiber in the diet. After the first pregnancy I bled every time I went to the bathroom for a few months, then the bleeding and irritation went away. After the lat pregnancy it took closer to 6 months, but they healed finally. My youngest is a year and a half now, and we have just now gotten able to return to anal play of all kinds with no bleeding or irritation of any kind.

Now, dont take my post to mean he doesnt need to see a doc, Id still suggest that he see one.

I would see a doctor, I had problems for while, thought that doing things here - ice pops etc they shrunk and i thought they had gone away - started anal play again, and they were back straight away.

I've never had the surgery, but I've spent months in agony.  My doctor gave me a Compounded prescription of "C-Nif/Lido/Hydro Supp 5/20/25 mg"  They're suppositories, insurance doesn't cover them and they're $120/bottle, but they work wonders.  Also, the Epsom salt baths and witch hazel are very helpful.   Stool softeners can help somewhat, but it's better to be on a healthy diet, drink lots of water and eat fruit, especially apples or bananas.

You could also try preperation H cool gel... Master has recently decided to train me anally and that stuff works great. He normally doesnt make me bleed though. You might try using it before he starts to bleed. Hope that helps.

There is a procedure called stapling, less pain, faster healing.  He should go to a surgeon, doesn't necessarily have to be gastroenterologist and get his hem''''' stapled. Bleeding can lead to infection and anemia.  Be a good dom and tell him he has to go, a couple of days he will be a s good as new. Nurse

They need to be banded if they're to the point that they bleed just when he's standing. 

Seriously, I really hope you or he are delaying treatment so you can address your collective kink needs....as that's really what the responses thus far have sounded like.
