I think its a good idea too.

I also would find it interesting and a rather nice idea.

I think it's a good idea. Those that are in one, want to be in one, or want to learn about and understand them would benefit from being able to find most threads about it in one place...ok, so I like convenience lol.

I think they should do away with the poly forum , it just seems like there is barely any participation there. When there is participation it is always about jealousy.

I could see a M/s-24/7 forum taking its place and being interesting to participate in.

I do not think the new forum should be named TPE.

The Gorean forum has turned out great though obviously Level must never read the threads there :)

I also think this thread should be moved to General BDSM discussion since it is important and we could really gain a consensus there.

It comes and goes.  For months there was nothing going on in the switch forum, then a flurry of activity.

And there's certainly more than just jealousy issues on the forums, just like there's more than "what is gorean" and "gorean vs bdsm" on the gorean forum.

Funny you mention the switch forum because I would get rid of that one also and replace it with a fetish forum.

I shouldn't have said always I should have stated it is so boring it feels like always :)

I personally think it would be of great use here. Regardless of any negativism that would surely abound, it would certainly serve as a very helpful instrument amongst like-minded individuals, as well as provide some much needed enlightenment to the rest of the huddled masses.

I wouldn't have a problem with it, Lam. I tend to not believe in genuine slavery, but I'm the first to admit that I may very well be wrong, and I'd enjoy sitting back and listening to those with a different pov, and maybe learn a thing or two.

Ya want a disingenuous slave, do ya?  [:D]  (you know I'm teasing)

lol, no, I want an ambidextrous one! [;)]...... I tell you, owned, as long as she does what I want and makes me happy (which might be slightly different than what some may think), I will be content.

And I hope you're having a good Labor day, sweet friend.

LOL ambidextrous does have its benefits.

Labor Day has gone well.  I just saw Neil Young's Heart of Gold movie and it was awesome.

Back to the point of the thread (You & I seem to have a way with hijacking, Level, lol), I am happy to see so many in support of the TPE forum.  Can it be a reality? How are new forums approved?

KatyLied -> RE: Who would be interested in a TPE forum? (9/4/2006 5:44:03 PM)

I voted "no".  But only because there are already enough forums to argue in.  And you know it would become a constant argument about the definition of tpe.  And can people who aren't 24/7 do tpe.
