ORIGINAL: MLskajira this girl recently had a session with her Master where He used a piece of cut cane and a riding crop and left a nasty looking blood blister. He told this girl she would probably have to care for it, but this one has no idea how to do that. can anyone help? When I have played hard with canes or other more sturdy instruments I seem to get those blisters about three days after I play. I usually put neosporin on them after I get out of the shower. I rub them with the palm of my hand to help spread the blood out of them, and there's the herbal remedys arnica, chamomile, lavender, Saint-John’s-wort that help the bruising go away faster. I'd also recommend that impact play on top of that area till the bruises are gone is not a wise thing. Bruises on top of others tend to leave you more open to getting blood clots.
