Status: offline 		Ok, i know the term humiliation. I know the term Sadism. most people associate that with physical though. there IS mental sadism but how do YOU define it :-) ?

That's when someone with an IQ (yes I know it's mostly a math test but let's flow (i.e most people have a concept of what an IQ test is and where they fit on the curve) with the term in a generic fashion as in --> all encompassing human experience) greater than your own decides to play with you. (whatever level of play you decide on). In the D/s community one would hope that it is consensual.

Then you wring them with it like they were a wet towel.

Brains invented tools. Therefore brain > tools.

The sadist often seeks a victim who is not a masochist, as some of the sexual excitement derives from the victim's unwillingness. The level and extent of sadistic violence may vary considerably, from infliction of mild pain in otherwise harmless love play to extreme brutality. The satisfaction of the sadist may result not from inflicting actual physical pain but rather from the mental suffering of the victim. Sexual urges may limit the level of violence, but in some cases the aggressive impulse becomes predominant and the sadist progresses to more extreme expressions of his violent tendencies.
 
So alot of rape fantasy plays involve sadists, someone who gets off on seeing you cry..
 
When the victim says yes, the sadist says no.. the twists get more involved..

I like knife play but I don't like blood so I'm very careful with my sharp knives which is all but one.
I had one knife purposely dulled to the point of making it difficult to cut warm butter.

I will start with the sharp knives for awhile then switch to the dull one and "slit their throat"

I agree with Mrr. Pete...the mind fuck can be an excellent example of mental sadism.  You can find some good posts on mind fucks ranging from mild to extreme on a wonderful thread started by Bearlee a month or so ago.  Just put "mindfuck" in the search box on the front page of the forum.

One of my favorite mind fucks is awakening in the morning and telling the submissive in great detail about the newer level of pain I am going to take her to that night and/or how many orgasms she will have and how they will be obtained.  I then keep reminding her of it during the day and then, when evening comes and she's just about levitating off the couch from her own trembling, send her into the bedroom and have her prepare.  I then join her, put her on the bed forcefully... then make love to her as gently as I can.  Or instead of making love to her..tease her, asking her at what time today she became wet and how much time she spent thinking about what was going to happen, all the while touching and kissing and nipping her with my teeth, lightly spanking her....then telling her how "sorry" I am to disappoint her but that it will have to wait until the next day because "I'm just so tired" or "I have an early patient" or something.

Lets say that your slave is a sports fan. Find out her favorite team, and tape them in a losing game, then force her to watch the game repeatedly.
 
If yours is an animal lover, buy her a nice rabbit fur throw to keep her warm in her cage during the winter. When she is nice & cozy, tell her how many bunnies had to die for her comfort.

Status: offline 		or going to bed and in deep sleep wake up to men fighting and hearing a crash and getting out of bed to see whats going on..open the door only to find a gun to your head by a man who says he's just bashed your husbands brains in and theres a sheet on the garage floor with what looks like blood and then being told youve been being watched. fighting hard just to breath, fear qaukes threw every part of your being. instinct tells you to fight.... the man holding the gun and the bat tell you differant.  you get a smell of the man becouse he has pushed his chest into you to push you back into the house and it smells like Master. you think its him but still unsure.  thats a mind fuck!!!!! just remembering that nite and writing it here has made my heart pound faster. remembering the emotions i was feeling. the fear, true fear, the anger, the sadness, the stress and anxiety, the shaking, the feeling of loss, the violation and finally the reliefe of realizing it was master.   what a nite that was.

Michael Bolton and C-Span?  Damn, and I thought watching the NASA channel while playing the William Shatner voice over from Start Trek was bad.

Mind fucks, playing with your fear, keeping you in suspense. Those are the ones i could think of off the top.  i do think  mental sadism is different then emotional sadism, which i would not want any part of (emotional sadism)

you just have to understand the person well you are inflicting the "mental sadism" on.. understand their quirks/phobias/joys.. what motivates them or demotivates them, and fucking with it. that doesn't always require more intelligence.. just good observation skills, and creativity to use them.

one particularly nasty thing for me is putting in the situation where it's something really hard/embarrassing/scary to do and giving me the choice to do it.. something that my mind is struggling to do.. then being faced with the disappointment.. just the slightest tone with the right words.. and Ouch.

Mental sadism?

Ensure that the submissive you choose is some airy-fairy, granola-eating, tree-hugging. whale saving, tuna boycotting owl lover.

Insist your submissive return to graduate school to earn an MBA.  Ensure their first job in the Real World is to ensure a WalMart is built in West Dumbfuckistan in some red state.  Indicate that once the economy in that place is destroyed, that the Walmart will claim unionizing practices and go out of business. 

Put them in charge of convincing the indigenous population that this was all down for their benefit, and any objection to it is part of an Al Qaeda plot to destroy American Family Values.

Indicate afterwards that it would be your pleasure that they work towards and obtain a PhD in Economics with a minor in Abnormal Psychology.

Lock them up with a chastity belt.  Insist they have no sexual release whatsoever.  Send them pictures of all the people you are having sex with while they are gone.  Convince them that you are doing it for their own personal growth.

Put them in the Armed Forces.  Insist they apply for Abu Graibh interrogrator duty.  Put their picture on the cover of Time magazine, ensuring that they will go down in history as a torturer of innocent human beings and a symbol of everything which is wrong with America.

Force them to serve an indefinite term shooting guns at Muslims.  Give them napalm and cruise missiles.  Give them a quota of how much they need to drop, but indicate that the particular target is unimportant as long as it is not some affiliate of Walmart or Halliburton.

Force them to vote Republican.

Convince them it is for their own personal growth.
