That reminds me of an experience I had in Basic training.  We were doing infantry maneuvers in Humvees, and I had control of the radio in my humvee.  (It was me, 3 other privates, and one of the drill sergeants in the humvee.)  The lead humvee all of a sudden pulls over, the privates dismount and hit the dirt on either side (Which is what we were supposed to do, but they were supposed to keep going to a bend in the road, not stop in the middle of the straight section.)  They did some other funny stuff (walking around, looking at the bushes, talking), and then got back in the humvee and then just sat there.  I was told to find out what was going on, so I asked them over the radio, they said hold on a minute.  My Drill sergeant got pissed, and said, "Ask them what the hell, over?"  So, I key the mike, and say "What the hell, over?" 

It is possible to do 100 pushups in a slime-filled culvert while laughing so hard you can barely breathe.  It just takes awhile.
