That works.
If it is solid, you can get brass threaders that have threads on the outside and inside.
Drill a hole of the right size, jam the threader into the hole, and screw it all the way in, so it is completely inside the hole with a screwdriver.
Then when you need to use it, just screw in a few eyebolts, and you are ready to go.
You can take the door off the hinges, throw on on the bed, against the wall, or on a secure surface.
They can handle considerable amounts of weight if they are solid.
No one ever thinks of a door as a bondage toy, and since he threads are inside the door, they aren;t noticeable, especially if you only use the top and the bottom, if you use a side, then a wood sticker will usually cover the hole enough so that the eye will just naturally pass over it unless it really sticks out.
This works for walls too, if you'd like to have eyebolts in your drywall, just drill into your stud and screw in the threaders. Find a sticker to match the color of the paint, and its nearly invisible, or hand a picture over it, or a tapestry. If you don't give a perosn a reason to focus in on it, they won't tend to see it.
It's a very cheap very low skill easy to hide, works well for any weight insta-restraining wall/device. You can use it with rope, chains, locks, whatever. Chains and leather WILL leave marks on the paint though, so be warned, its one reason why a tapestry is so nice to cover it up, or think ahead and use a type of paint that will allow you to clean it with water and not fade or lift off on that wall.
It's my personal fav since it only takes a few seconds to expose the hole, and screw an eyebolt in and be ready to play. The threaders are a couple bucks a piece max.
This would also work for bed frames of a wooden and heavy enough structure - or you slide the door under the mattress so you have tying points for the rope or whatever via the eyebolts, or put it directly under them if they need a firmer surface.
