DOWNINMYMOUTH -> who we are (4/20/2004 8:21:09 PM)

4-20-2004 I am a submissive male seeking to find my identity as a submissive. While there are many references to game players, the reality is for many of us, we are seeking. The right person will eventually emerge who can lead me into the areas of eroticism that I need and desire. For many, myself included, it is a slow process and seemingly a long path. While some may never get there, there is still the desire for fulfillment. Some will never experience it for whatever reason; this might include me.

I do genuinely understand the many Dominants who complain concerning the lack of sincerity of many here, and on the Internet in general. I think for many the desire to surrender and allow someone to take control is real; it is an evolution for many. Few can take the ultimate leap of a 24/7 relationship, no matter how exciting or appealing. What I hope for, and what I think many submissive persons hope for is a Dominant who is willing to nurture me from fantasy to reality, but this takes a special person.

Labels are difficult. I have desires to be forced to service men anal and oral, but I am not a bi-sexual; I can be, and enjoy taking control over a women when having sex, but I am not a Dominant; I desire to be hurt and humiliated during sex, but do not enjoy pain or humiliation otherwise. These dimensions of personality are deep, and finding my sexually has been a long and confusing process.

We are all people with feelings and desires beyond sexuality. Respect for one another as people should come foremost. This takes a little while to foster. But given time, I think the intellectual side of a relationship adds to the erotic nature of the submission and control aspects. We need to know who we are first, in order to surrender to another or take control of another.

I totally agree, but If You read my post about why people get frustrated, You will know that it can be a long road?
It doesnt have to be that way, but people just give up and leave. It does in some ways leave a scar, when people are fakes. If You really have climbed that latter of the Bdsm/Relationship/Lifestyle only to get knocked off. It just means the tunnel is still dark. trust me there is light at then end of the tunnel~~~[:)]

Sincerely, knees2You[;)]

While I agree with many of your comments, I would recommend reading the board guidelines concerning personal's postings on the message board. Mind you that I am not picking on you, attacking you, or trying to scare you away... let alone accuse you of placing a personal's post on the board, I'm just glad you chose not to imbed your butt pic in your post and simply included it to support your comments as an attachment.

Thanks, welcome and best wishes.

(pssst, hey ProDomme here's a judgement call, help me out)

Inyouagain

First of all you say you need to find your identity as a sub, I understand that. If you have desires to service men and you say your not bi you might want to take a second thought, you really might be bi, dont be ashamed of who you might be. You said your trying to find your identity, right? You say you desire to be hurt and humiliated but do not enjoy pain, it looks like your contradicting yourself here. I dont think you will be able to find anyone that suits your needs until you find yourself. Like you said, " we need to know who we are first." You need to know who you are. Please dont take any thing I said in a negative way, it sounds like you need to find your true inner self first before you move on to the next chapter.

DOWNINMYMOUTH -> RE: who we are (4/21/2004 8:15:16 PM)

Thanks for your understanding.

ProDomme -> RE: who we are (4/22/2004 2:45:13 PM)

inyouagain- why do you feel the need to bring my name up?

As far as the post goes, I don't see it as a personal ad at all.

LadyBeckett -> RE: who we are (4/22/2004 3:36:06 PM)

Regarding your post Down, I am in agreement with ProDomme in that I don't see it as a personal ad either. I had a sub some time ago with whom I had discussed my thoughts regarding the omission of "tags" such as "bi" and such in regards to sexual expression. I have always considered myself a sexual being. He told me about a book, and unfortunately I have forgotten the name of it. Perhaps someone reading the post will know it.

That pretty much says it right there. Love, passion, expression (to include sexual expression) are not gender exclusive or restricted.

As knees said, there is absolutely light at the end of the tunnel [;)]

M'Lady,

I could be wrong, but is that "the honorable slut" or something?

DOWNINMYMOUTH -> RE: who we are (4/23/2004 8:03:29 PM)

Thank you. I have found everyones comments very instructive, but then being instructed is part of my nature.

DOWNINMYMOUTH -> RE: who we are (4/23/2004 8:04:58 PM)

Hi Goddess:

We have discussed this. Just out of courtesy I wanted to express my gratitude to you for taking some time to explain a few things to me. You are wonderful.

GoddessMarissa -> RE: who we are (4/23/2004 8:08:44 PM)

Not a problem[;)]
