i am looking for a show of hands... any interest from lifestylers who would purchase greeting cards for any of the following:

1) Various lifesyle occasions (collarings, receiving a permanent mark of ownership, blank cards of thanks with D/s themes)

2) Boxes of holiday cards with a BDSM theme

Feel free to reply here or on the other side. i am just trying to see if there would be enough interest to launch a professional line of quality cards... not homemade by any means...

Thank you for your thoughts...

Good Afternoon.

Our publishing company, Caged Heart Publishing, specializes in BDSM, D/s, and S&M Fiction, Nonfiction, Poetry, and Art. We have been considering printing a line of specialized greeting and occasion cards for the kinky community, along with our regular schedule of book publishing. Perhaps calendars as well.

We saw your ad in the CollarMe artisans thread, and are inquiring if you are still considering, or have already printed and distributed your fetish and lifestyle cards.

Our offsite email is [email protected].

Thank You,

Tawseman and Olivia

I don't know about lifestyle greeting cards, but every holiday I make my cards for my leather family out of actual scrap leather, cardboard for a hard working surface and rigidity, and rivets, studs, paint, etc. They love showing them off at parties. My partner actually keeps whatever the latest card she's received in her bag or in the car. She only does this because when people tell her about it they never believe her.

Anyone look in a card shop or drug store lately? Lots of nilla cards are quite risque. I have one in my desk drawer now...picture a cute cartoon character with a flower and a rainbow...on the front it says...Just a little card to say I'm thinking of you....inside....naked, on a leopard skin rug with a rose between your teeth and your cute little buns glowing in the light of the incense candles I've stategically placed around you....and did I mention the handcuffs?

I had holiday cards and note cards with my artwork on it and they sold fairly well at events but the call for the product isn't large enough to warrant a large printing and small or individual printings of them are more expensive. Marketing something like that on a small scale is pretty much cost prohibitive.

I think that it's a brilliant idea. Keep me posted.

There is a Domme in Minnesota that publishes a line of BDSM greeting cards. They are pretty nice. Don't know when they will go into wider circulation.

Yes definitely, i have struggled to find suitable cards and have usually resorted to half suitable ones embellished with some other token or something of personal significance.   I agree the mainstream does offer more these days but i am always looking for something more specific and respectful that is obviously recognising my place as a sub whilst still celebrating the occasion.

Slightly off subject, i have resorted to online greeting cards in the past, some specifically bdsm but i was not really impressed, does anyone know of a good website for online cards, second best i know but sometimes appropriate.

If anyone is interested in publishing erotic greeting cards with or without a BDSM theme, a lot of my photographs would be suitable for that purpose.  Please feel free to contact me if you're in business.  :)

A friend and I were just talking about that the other night... We were joking about needing a get well-type card due to her recently bruised and battered backside...
