This is what I was going to recommend. Actually the product is called Magic Shave. It is a powder Dipilitory that can be mixed with water to different strengths for different hair and skin types. (sometimes it takes some trial and error). I have a different experience with it, perhaps because I have black (african) hair or perhaps because I have sensitive skin. It CAN I REPEAT CAN burn if you leave it on for too long and it will leave scars if it burns you. Some formulas DO smell bad but you can get past the smell because it washes off. It CAN make you break out if you are allergic to the formula. As with any and all products there are things to look out for on an individual basis. All in all it is a WONDERFUL product. But LADIES becareful when you are near your openings because it can get inside and BURN the HELLACIOUSNESS out of you.
With all these warnings, don't be alarmed, with careful use it can possibly be the best product you will ever come across. It can be found in beauty supply stores in the black hair care section or in your friendly neighborhood WAL-Mart in the Black Hair Care Section. It comes in different formulas, so make sure you get the formula that is right for your skin type. I use the regular formula but for people of the caucasian persuasian, I would recommend the sensitive skin formula. As for the premixed formula, I don't recommend it as you cannot dilute it if it is too strong and you cannot strengthen it if it is too weak.
The way I use magic shave is I mix up the formula I use in the strength I use then I smear it on with rubber gloves on my hands. I let it sit for approximately 2 minutes then I jump in the shower and rinse it off somewhat massaging the hair as the water hits it. This practice has proven effective for me, you get a SMOOTH pubic area and it looks magnificent.
