Hi,

I'm in the market for a few items. However, I'm suspect at the sizing for what some merchants call 'plus sized'.

Does anyone have any experience with any particular merchants that they've been happy with? I don't want to go through the hassle of ordering items that I'll just end up returning in the end.

Deal Lily,
someone with whom I was chatting the other day, showed me an online site that seemed to have a few cute pieces; am sorry I haven't yet ordered to tell you the fit; the site is www.Enchanted-dreams.com
Unfortunately, my only leather at present is a miniskirt from Torrid.com (which runs true to size, as incidentally is on sale at present, wink), and leather shoes. I'll follow this thread, because I too am interested in results. Thanks. M

Same here BlkTallFullfig. I love Torrid. Their styles and sizes are very flattering for us lucious full figured babes LOL. I just mentioned in another post about wide width/calf boots. They typically have a great selection of those as well. Good luck in your search Lily!!!

I do not have experience with "fetish" type wear other than from Torrid. If you have a local store, I suggest dropping by and looking around. A fyi, any of the corsets I've seen in Torrid have plastic boning.

Thank you all for the great links. I've been doing google searches, but mine have missed some of the the links that were posted. A special thanks to Beach Mistress.

One question about Torrid. Am I going to the right site? (www.torrid.com) because the clothes on this site strike me as kinda vanilla like Lane Bryant. BlkTallFullfig mentioned a leather skirt from there, but I didn't see any leather.

Again, I'm not necessarily looking for anything specific right now, I'm more or less browsing to enhance what I already have...which frankly is kinkified vanilla stuff for the most part.

The torrid website doesn't reflect their stock in store. I have a pair of corset type bustiers from them and a gorgeous black velvet, lace and satin dress. While I was there, I also tried on a latex looking dress. Some of the stuff is Lane Bryant gone goth, but there are some gems in there as well.

This is just a suggestion, but you may want to try places like The Glamour Boutique. It is a store that caters to crossdressers, and is located in Massachusetts. Just about everything they carry is in plus sizes, and some of it is damn sexy. If sfgrrl has been to it, or knows of iy, maybe she can help. Good luck. www.glamourboutique.com.

go to the search box, and type leather, at www.torrid.com.
Also go under shoes and search their shoes/boots, they're cute/sexy, without being deadly uncomfortable. M

I'm all for the golden rule, except at playtime; I don't like many of the things I propose to do to my sub/slave, but I only do it because I care, and because he agrees to it/and will probably enjoy it, (lol). I mean I won't wear deadly uncomfortable shoes, but I'm soft and sensitive that way. M

Yes BeachMystress, some of what is available at the store I haven't seen/looked for online; If I've seen it at the store, I prefer to buy it than (yah know the instant gratification thing).
Also know about the latex dress, I got it, it's cute. My sister was looking am me like "what's that for?" I told her I'd take pics for her when I wore it... Any Ideas on events to wear that to? LOL.... M

I've heard of a club in RI called Social Eyes, but don't know of a website for it. That would be a good place to wear it :-D

OH, I forgot to mention my custom Strap on. It was made by Sub Hugi http://www.cometsoftware.com/she/ and specifically designed for BBW. It moves like it is a part of your body. I've never had a strap on like it! Every movement of your hips translates into a thrust or withdraw. It is also comfortable enough to wear under clothes for that secret strap on attack. *wicked grin* I plan to wear mine over red or silver jeans to my next play party. (My sub will be toting the attachment in his mouth like a bone)

I have used ladyb ... bit slow on delivery but love their products. I have a catsuit and an undergarment. I also like their hosiery

I've ordered from Hips and Curves and LadyBWear and have had good experiences with both. LadyBWear is a UK based site, so shipping to the States takes a bit longer. Hips and Curves had very fast service.

I've also had trouble finding wide-calf boots. Are there any other resources besides Torrid? I actually found a decent pair of knee boots at Payless that were wide-width, but I'd like a pair of "proper" boots ;-)

personally I dont have that problem I just usually make my own cloths for the types of play I do. I have the problem with being plus sized myself and I get tired of it all not fitting in the right places or accenting the right places. So to save myself all the grief I make em myself.
