was out shopping at an Ollie's recently ( generally remaindered/discontinued items type store) and ran across the uber mondo version of the wortenburg wheel - its a roller on a handle and there are pins/small nails sticking out of the roller - its original purpose is to make holes in wallpaper so it is easier to steam it off by letting the steam get in behind the paper and work on the glue - I saw this thing and went whooo waaa - what a sensation toy that would make - kinda like the eighteen wheeler of wortenburg wheels! - I think this one was $3.99 plus tax - just thought I would pass along this nifty 'pervertable' to the rest of the community[:)]
