Any suggestions on which type are best to use on pierced nipples that aren't ready to take weights on their own yet?

In my experience, nipple piercings that are not completely healed and seasoned should be left pretty much alone. Nipples (especially female nipples) reject piercings readily, then you are faced with starting again or giving up.

For a very knowledgeable and approachable guy to ask ask about piercing issues:

I 've been through several nipple peircings with no success, (I have some interesting scars :P) and then I met a woman who had had the same experience, and this was her advice:

Straight barbells. Rings and curved barbells put pressure against the nipple and cause the body to reject.

LEAVE THEM ALONE. Don't constantly clean them or move them. Leave them where they are, they'll heal far more quickly that way.

I've had mine done for nearly two years and took the rings out and replaced them with barbells about a year ago, I wash around them in the shower and occassionaly put savlon on them if they hurt, but leave them alone otherwise.

They still get a bit 'yuck' on occassion and I'm not sure if it is because they haven't healed properly yet or just 'that time of the month'. Because of this I am not sure if I should put the rings back in and let Him play with the weights or leave them well alone for at least another 6 months to a year.

what I really want to get, though, is a 'pickle-puller' type pair - saw them at a play party and have been lusting after them ever since

If you go to a really good electronics store, that stocks all the tools to do electronics (not radio shack either) you'll find those type of clamps. I have a pair and in reality they are used for picking up small electronic parts that are dropped or holding them in place. I'd give you the link to where I purchased mine, but unfortunately they are out of business

Is this the tool you're talking about? Here is a smaller one.

I have several sets of nipple clamps the ones I like best are alligator clip leads from Radio Shack you can get them in different lengths and the sharp teeth are wonderful.

I started out like pretty much anyone else; wooden clothes pins and then commercially available nipple clamps. Over the years, my interest in more intense sensations and a higher pain tolerence increased to the point where I can take metal surgical forceps without much trouble. As much as they hurt when they are first applied, it's nothing compared to when they're removed. Adding a connecting chain and then securing the chain to a permanent object so that both of the nipples are pulled at the same time if you move around very much can be downright incredible.

Japanese Clover Clamps are the best and when placed back on the nipple, away from the tip, have a super girp and can withstand a lot of pulling and weights without slipping off.
Take a Alcohol swab and clean the rubber grip "tips" afer each use to maintain the "grab".

have to echo the request for any info or personal experiences you guys have on nipple clamps that work well with pierced nipples.

my nipples are long fully healed, so that's not a worry. so far, the tweezer-type seem to be somewhat okay on me (alligators always a big no-no), but not ideal. i'm curious if the clover clamps would work?

the problem is that the placement of my piercings, while correct, don't work well with the clamps i've tried since getting them. placing the clamp behind puts too much pressure on the piercing and putting it in front of tends to let it slide off.

anyone have suggestions?

bdsmbabe -> RE: Nipple Clamps (7/22/2005 6:05:30 PM)

my favorite pair are my tweezer clamps. Does anyone know any place that sells the rubber tips for the clamps? i'm missing one from my tweezer clamps and one from my regular clamps so i haven't been able to use them. [:(] So now my favorite clamps have become my weighted alligator clamps. [:)]

bdsmbabe, take one of the remaining rubber tips to an auto parts store and ask for some of the same size, they are used to cap vacuum connections on fuel systems. you can buy a whole bag full for very little. good luck

Pick up a can of Plasti-Dip at your local hardware store and you're all set. It even comes in different colors. Ooooooh!
