Well, I suspect I became unticklish when I really became interested in pain tolerance (when I was 8(wasn't related to bdsm(just furthering control of my body was the goal))). If I'm particularly giddy or nervous I lose a lot of my ability to tolerate pain and as I've found out before ticklishness.

I suspect if you wanted to tolerate tickling you could probably employ a method of tolerating pain. I'd rather not describe some of the methods I have since I've probably abstracted and overcomplicated them in my head to the point where noone else would understand it.

tickling is great fun, especially if your victim is pinned or tied so they can squirm but can't escape.

Eeep! I hate it! I was abused via it when I was little. Yes, abused. I'll start out by stating that I have asthma, and so breathing has always been a bit of an issue in general.

Well, this person in my family used to tickle me to the point of crying and wanting to vomit. I would run to another place in the house having an asthma attack crying and they would be laughing saying "where is your sense of humour?"

I was told by a counselor when I was in school that such things are actually abuse, and she even showed me a book on the topic.

The experience obviously left some scarring and is a reason for tickling being on my hard limits list. Too bad, because light tickling seems to be enjoyable and cute for most, but said person ruined my experience of it!

I absolutely loathe being tickled and have learned to shut off the reaction due to it. I sometimes enjoy tickling so long as it doesn't go past the other person's comfort zone, it's an area where I don't enjoy pressing a person.

I loathe it but there is a whole subculture of tickle torture enthusiasts. They have tickle torture parties all over the country, the largest is an annual convention held in Philadelphia in May I believe.

For me, it depends on the tickling. I love to be touched/touch and tickled/tickle and made to laugh and giggle -- can be quite fun

But, after a while of being tickled , the areas (e.g., my feet or my sides) are not ticklish anymore... just starts to feel really very sensual and erotic and I get turned on and sends chills up and down my spine. (That is if my idea of being tickled is the same as everyone else?)

Also for me, depends on the area being "tickled". My Master likes to tickle my "private parts" (which is very sensitive, in a good and a bad way). I *adore* being tickled. I find it very erotic. Certain areas like around the hip bone, ankle, backs of knees etc really drive me crazy in a really good way. If I'm restrained and can wriggle as much as I want its even better.

Tickling is one of those love/hate areas for me. It's totally unbearable, I flail all over the place. But on the other hand, I love being the object of his gleeful sadistic attention.

What the Mister enjoys the most is rubbing his 2 day old scratchy stubbly face all over the most sensitive parts of me. God! It tickles and hurts at the same time!

I'm willing to be tickled so long as I'm tied up first. The most disobedient I am with my Daddy is when he tells me to keep my arms up and I take my own sweet time doing it -- whining all the way -- and them slam them right back down just as soon as I feel his fingers in my armpits. yerk.

i'm not ticklish, unless i am caught off-guard. It's a natural reflex that i've built up after years of my sister trying to tickle me too much, and other people trying to tickle me. i hate being touched by people i don't know well, and i especially hate being tickled by them, so i built up a reflex of ignoring tickling. It makes people go away...no fun to try to tickle someone who's not ticklish.

m'Lord is ticklish, but He says it almost hurts, so it is not allowed. Don't want to hurt m'Lord, for sure.

Ever had your grandfather throw a blanket over you as a small child and tickle you until you peed your pants? Funny how those kinds of things can leave a lasting impression. i hate being tickled, but it's kind of fun to get it once in a while in small doses and be able to giggle over it. But i have to admit, if i were to be tickled during play, it would be a mood killer right there and then. Fortunately, Master doesn't like to play tickle games so it's not an issue!
