Ladies...
Have you gotten implants and if so are you happy that you did?
What kind of incision?  What was recovery like?

And just out of curiosity, why did you get them?

I have never had my breasts done, and probably never will unless it was important to my life partner, although I cannot see me with someone that demanded it, never know

I can only see myself getting implants if I had to have a mastectomy for some reason.

But I'm certainly looking towards getting a reduction and lift at some point in my future.

I wouldn't get implants either, but getting them lifted is another story. Curious to hear from those who have had implants.

Yes~ i had the implants nearly a year ago. After time spent in a gym to get into shape?  i did gain strength and i did lose weight~ yet i also was left with the lose skin as well as losing a cup size.  So i decided to go ahead and go for the whole nine yards. i did the implants last October. This year i am doing the tummy tuck, bottom lift, liposuction and so on.

A friend told me about her Doctor- as did many O/others. Dr. YH is truly gifted.  Note: this is not an area to skimp?  Do the research on the surgeon as well as contact your state's Board of Licensing and check.  He asked questioned and researched "my lifestyle" as well. i felt very comforatble with Him (H? it is my sign of respect) He may not be into the lifestyle, yet He now knows quite a lot really and is happy to answer questions from others via email.

Am i happy -Yes!  Extremely so.

The implants were gel. This means they go in "whole" and not "to be filled later."  The incision is under the breast . Reason being? He explained the nipples, as well as the under arm incisions, are more likely to cause nerve damage.  The actual scar is a thin, very light line, about 3 inches.  This will differ for each person of course and there are natural remedies to help lessen the look. i can give info on that as well if you wish. i was a mid C cup origanlly, after the gym a B at best. i left it in His hands as to what size shape and such would be a good look for my frame. i figured Doctor does this for a living and knows His stuff. He did say the #1 regret of most patient's is not getting them large enough the first time and having them re done.

Recovery? we are an unusual group He felt in that we play harder, rougher, we bind, clamp and so on.... so the standard recovery time is really nothing. A 3-day pain pump will make you comfortable and you can even return to work many say the next day. i had other things done and He kept me for about a week.  To be released for play may take longer.  i had them imp[lanted under the muscles to look natural. The pocket He cut needed more time to heal before He released me for play.

Why did i get them? To look, feel and be the best i can be? Is there a difference? from being a B cup to a DD cup? (i am a large frame and 69" tall)   Oh yes of course. It has been a year and i am still have some discomfort. i often have to wear a bra just for support, if not i feel sore. Would i do it again? In a heartbeat. As for others having implants? That is for each to decide.

Although I haven't had em, I can agree with alovely lady. This is not an area on which to scrimp. Knowing as many dancers/escorts as I do, I would also say it's better to see a doc who either specializes in breast augmentations only, or one who is accustomed to doing breast reconstruction surgery as well. At least thats if you're going for the natural look. Any plastic surgeon with a license can do what I call "porno-boobs." And everyone knows the type I mean... It kind of looks like the surgeon stuffed a grapefruit under the skin. No bounce, no give, no fun. Careful during play, especially for teh first few months, as the saline implants can and will pop. From the screams of agony I've heard, I'm not thinking *many* would consider it an erotic pain.

I, personally, have not had any cosmetic surgery. I was genetically "blessed" in the front bumper department. I have desired and at some point, will have a lift job because I am not at all fond of the saggy boob thing.

Being a lover of all things feminine, even though I know that there are ALOT of small breasted women that have serious issues with their size I personally find small  to medium sized boobs just sexy as hell! I am the opposite of our current cultural norm. I personally have an aversion to implants, expecially the low budget porn star/stripper variety. I just prefer the more natural look and feel.

All of that being said, my girl has had implants. She is tall, 5'10" and very thin.....was a run way model. For her it was about a deep feeling of inadequacy. She felt she was not woman enough with small breasts. Also, given her line of work it was beneficial. Regardless of all of that, going to the very best doctor NYC had to offer and really listening to his advise was the smartest thing she could have ever done. This is NOT an area to go discount!! It looks 100% natural, the size fits her frame perfectly, he refused to go larger. AND it is very important to have regular checkups with your plastic surgeon for as long as you have the implants. She has had to have them redone with new implants about a year ago. It is not always a one shot type of deal. Be prepared to have an ongoing extra expense to maintain both appearance and more importantly your health. Not everyone has to, but it is a possibility.

If I had my way she would not have the implants but knowing what it means to her, I refuse to make her feel bad about it. I care about her as a person not a specific part of her body. If she is happier with the implants than without, then so be it.

I've not had implants done, and I'm not going to.  However, being a 32A (just barely) I do often feel "unwomanly".  pup seems to like them okay, but I'm still bothered by insecurities.  I don't really need a bra for support, but more for making what little I do have visible.  One day I walked across college campus without one on and passed two other girls...  Behind my back I heard: "Was that a boy or a girl?"

Please... my hips and fat ass should be enough to prove I'm female, but... that still hurt.

zuma, that is terrible! I get angry and frustrated that our society seems to determine how "womanly" a woman is based upon her curves.

I could write a whole long diatribe about this subject but I will spare the masses.

Just find the beauty in your own uniqueness as those that love you do. Your a beautiful woman as you are.

You think you've got problems!? Three years on HRT and still not much to show for it - although as Adrian assures me, "any more than a handful is a waste" (isnt he romantic?). Meanwhile other bits are now just right - my littlest UM was playing with the camera on Sunday and took a pic of my backside, and its definitely a woman's (I promise to give it her back when I see her) and a pretty good one too!

Still Zuma, I get what youre saying completely - I heard the same sort of comments ("what was THAT!?") when I started transition, and they hurt me. How much more they might hurt a natural woman I can only imagine.

I'm going for a boob job in Prague next spring the way things stand (winter over there is not funny). Its really cheap, excellent facilities and care, Czech female surgeon with UK and Canadian qualifications, etc etc (look up Laderma on Google if interested). It's important to me I guess, and will also make it possible to wear certain things where my cheats in normal life wont work (T shirt bras - what an excellent invention, and no Kleenex required!).

But never feel inadequate ladies. Youre far more than a pair of boobs to those who love you, and if anyone has a problem with it, then thats exactly the situation - they have a problem (not you!).

LaTigresse and LadyEllen:  Thanks.  Logically I know that breasts don't make the woman, but I guess I've always felt like I didn't measure up.  I got the 'boy' comment more than once.  I don't like my face, either.  It isn't as 'pretty and feminine' as I'd have liked.  But I'll keep what God gave me rather than change it.  Part of me doesn't know why I fuss...  I did get married to a wonderful guy, so how important can this be?  The other part just keeps on fussing, being dissatisfied, and feeling inadequate.

Oh well.  Somethings never change.  I do appreciate the kind words, though.  Thank you.

at least NOW the doctors are more open in telling the perspective patient that she needs to have them changed out about every 10 years.  Another expense.

My only thought on implants is this:

In thousands of years from now, we will have become an ancient civilization. As explorers go through our graves, they will come accross female skeletons with two bags of silocone sitting on top of there rib cage. This may be the biggest mistery the future may ponder about todays society.

ill give my personal opinion on implants.

i dont like them, period. I pefer the natural look weither it be A cup or F cup.

that said, i also like the "to each his own" theory of life and if that is what you want, go for it, but be sure to do you the proper research.

Zuma, you are quite the sexy lady dont listen to the idiots

Zumala,
Everyone feels inadaquate in some way or another. I have known international top models who felt that they looked ugly yet they were on the cover of many fashion magazines. I myself feel inadaquate because I wiegh too much so I struggle with what I eat and try to exercise everyday. Be happy with who you are and people will notice you.
As far as the implant thing, I feel that a woman should do it to feel better about themselves if they have the right frame of mind about it. Basically understand that having larger breasts is not going to make your life better, it is just going to change your appearance.
My wife wants a breast lift because she like LaTigress was blessed as far as the front bumper thing. She wants to have them reduced so they do not hurt her shoulders as much and so she has perky nipples.

If I may offer another male opinion;  I hate the damn things!  They look nice but they don't feel right when I handle them, not to mention roughly using them.
