subfever -> Democrat, Republican, or 3rd Party? (9/24/2006 10:44:01 PM)

After reading many of the political posts here, it seems to me that these forums are represented by a noticably higher percentage of advocates for 3rd-Parties than the final results of the past several Presidential elections had indicated.

Let's find out.

Do you consider yourself:

BlkTallFullfig -> RE: Democrat, Republican, or 3rd Party? (9/24/2006 10:55:46 PM)

I'm a conservative democrat.  I realize neither party is all of what I desire for leadership purposes...   However, I definitely find that for me, even though the difference is small, my needs/wishes for a well run country are better served by democrats, working toward the democratic ideal.   M

Rumtiger -> RE: Democrat, Republican, or 3rd Party? (9/24/2006 11:07:15 PM)

I'm a Libertarian.

Lordandmaster -> RE: Democrat, Republican, or 3rd Party? (9/24/2006 11:51:30 PM)

I'm Green, but they don't have much chance of winning anything, so usually I vote blue.

cuddleheart50 -> RE: Democrat, Republican, or 3rd Party? (9/25/2006 3:04:42 AM)

I'm a Democrat.

zumala -> RE: Democrat, Republican, or 3rd Party? (9/25/2006 8:05:08 AM)

I was raised Republican and then started actually paying attention to what was going on.  I'm neither, although I guess I'd vote Democrat just to get the crazy money-hungry Republicans the hell out of office before they manage to fuck up the earth entirely.

But really, I'd rather have a party that looked at the bigger picture and was concerned with the environment more than money and business.

*gulp*  I'm a closet republican...  hell, I live in Idaho, I think it's the law that you have to be...  jk.  Actually, I'm a pretty liberal republican.

I'm a green party member and yes I will be voting.

I'm a life-long Democrat that has voted for Republicans, Libertarians, Greens, Nader, Clinton, Bush, and will be voting for Kinky Friedman in November to kick Governor Hair out of office here in Texas.

Lorelei115 -> RE: Democrat, Republican, or 3rd Party? (9/25/2006 4:19:54 PM)

I too am Libertarian. And some day, I will learn how to spell it.

I realize it's still early in the polls, but so far, my observations are being confirmed. Gotta wonder about the implications of so many kink-aware people also being third-party!

Anyway, here are the results after the first 24 hours of polling:

Democrat -   7
Republican - 2
Third Party - 10

Pimpernell -> RE: Democrat, Republican, or 3rd Party? (9/26/2006 1:15:10 AM)

Well, I'm a monarcho-anarcho-paleoconservative libertarian.

So no way I'm voting at all.

FangsNfeet -> RE: Democrat, Republican, or 3rd Party? (9/26/2006 2:09:01 AM)

I'm ready to see more controversy in the mix. I'm banking that someday, someone just might get it right.

If I were your domina, you'd have to pick a party (may I suggest democrat, lol) and you'd have to go vote.
Thanks for the link Subfever. [:)] M
