Aubre -> Vet Wrap - where to buy in bulk? (9/29/2006 7:21:24 AM)

Does anyone know of a good online source of vet wrap? I'm wanting to buy some in bulk and also if I could get some in different colors that would be nice as well.

Thanks

Cherrybrook.com is a dog show supply site. I used vet wrap for my show dogs ears before going in the ring. try there .

http://www.jefferslivestock.com carries 3M Vetwrap in eleven different colors at $1.29/roll. That's where you get it in bulk.

The trade name is Vetrap (or Coban) by 3M.

http://www.statelinetack.com -- I've never found a place that will beat the 1.29 a roll price for the generic vetrap.

http://www.valleyvet.com -- They have the 3M product priced at 1.59 each bulk, and they stock the most colors!

I've even found vetwrap/coban on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/24-ROLLS-OF-COHESIVE-VET-WRAP-4-INCH-WIDE_W0QQitemZ7628771184QQcmdZViewItem

There's a similar product by Andover called CoFlex. Here's one source:

Yep, that was one my links in a post above.  I use them and Chick's Harness in DE for the real horses.

He he thought I was the only one that knew about them [sm=trident.gif]
Purchasing crops, whips, querts, co-flex, and hobbles online is a lot easier than explaining to the tack shop people exactly WHY you need 2 pairs of front hobbles. I've also purchased some wonderful cotton woven ropes from there. They are generally used for training on hackamores. I like them for tickle torture. You can loop the center to hold hands then loop the ends around a bed post for leverage. The cotton is very gentle on the skin but strong at holding him in place while you have your fun.
Only thing better than the tack store is the dollar store. Pervertables are everywhere if you let your mind wander. They are also great for situations where deny-ability is necessary.
