I like how you put that, and I relate to it well.

Leading up to a punishment, I put myself in a mindset which allows me to become completely open to what is about to occur. I do what I can to keep my spirit calm. And I become very grateful that he cares enough to push me as he does, and to correct me as he does. My life is ultimately better for it. One time I kept thanking him and professing love after each stroke. It wasn't anything planned, it just came out.

this one never was beaten for punishment. Mistress had a saying..."never reward a bad slave/sub with something he likes it only reinforces the bad behavor.

Instead he would own up to his mistake ,if he knew he had done wrong, for minor/major punishments.

Minor was always done with a talking too and extra duties that really didn't need to be done at the moment.

Majors I always knew about. And I dread them the most. There was only one punishment i recieve for a major foul up and that would to be ignored and not know when it would end.

Afterwards he would still be ignored until he slowly earn his way back into Her graces.

For the record minor ones he recieved once a month or so and rarely for the same thing.

he had only five majors in a ten year period. With the longest ignore status lasting two weeks for totaling the car.
