MHOO314 -> Aggravation perhaps Stalking (1/19/2005 6:33:53 PM)

I have been contacted regularly by a sub that I have told repeatedly I am not interested in, I respond. block his address and move on, yet he appears with one of thos pseudo profiles we all hate, there today, yet gone tomorrow, he leaves his email address in there though, any suggestions on this guy?

The ever popular "bring the situation to the Mods' attention" springs to mind.

Yes, let the moderators know so they can keep an eye out for the creep. Maybe if you remember some of the pseudonyms he has used this might help keep an eye out for the next variation.

There shouldn't be any email addresses in a profile anyways so that is a problem the mods should be aware of too.

Dear MHOO314
Am sorry about all of that happening to you...
I just sent a note to the mods (hope I did it correctly) for a very similar situation (nicely decline an offer, and they go off and lose their minds, sending idiotic emails)......
If one could reach out and smack someone! Damn the computer, LOL. M

The mods should be able to block him from hi origionating ip address-report him for stalking. Make sure you send them copies of his emails to you.

Sorry to hear you are having problems. As long as you have replied, told them no, and have not asked for anything, then you should be left alone. i agree with the rest when they say, contact the Mod. They can block the persons ip address.
As a sub looking to meet i can tell you that it can be just as bad on the other side. There are those who don't reply to your e-mails at all, making you ownder if they even got them. There are those that don't tell you they are not interested. These are the ones that then usually ask for something like picts or tributes or something. Having said that, ss long as you replied back, stated that you were not interested and have not asked for anything of value, then turn this person over to the moderator.

Please send all notices of abuse to support or you can email a Mod on the other side by looking up our profiles and sending us mail the same as you do any other member.

Remember however, we get tons of mail a day and cannot always respond. We will look into all issues of abuse and do what we can with them. Please do include the names of the offender's and give us a basic idea as to what the situation is.

Block the person that annoys you and go from there. This is the main reason CollarMe allows for inhouse email instead of you giving your personal information out. As well as barring an email address in your profile. If they were mailing your main account it would be even more bothersome.

along a related, if not similar line, where should we send mail when we get an obvious website ad sent in an email...it's happened to me a couple of times, and i wasn't sure how to handle it.
