My play collar is a brown lethar greyhound collar which Master and i adore but like your situation Master hasnt given me a permanent collar as of yet although we have been looking at alot on the net and else where and discussing what we would like best, he listens to my suggestions but at the end of the day i want it to be Masters choice just like i was!hehe

Angel has had no say in either his play collar nor his permanent collar. His permanent one I had gotten a while ago becaue I fel in love with it, and I was waiting for exactly the right boy to place it on. He is the first to ever wear it.
His play collar is a standard dog collar that I bought for him becasue it matches his belt *grin* IT was originally a joke, before I owned him. However, I still havent seen how he LOOKS in the play collar. My own fault, I left it home the last time I went to see him.

If there are other collars to be gotten in the fiture, he may have a say, if he would like. He has has a say in most of the other things we have gotten, from his chastity device to articles of clothing... so well see.

My play collar, we picked out at the pet store together. It's about an inch and a half wide, black leather and has rhinestones in it. I wear it when we go to the dungeon or to play at home privately. My every day collar is a silver link choker with a toggle closure and heart pendant on it. I picked it out and He approved. He doesn't really care what it looks like as long as I like it and we both know what it symbolizes.

Oh but I expect nothing Mavis... it is so peaceful living that way...big grins. We may never get there, I am more of a journey gal than a destination one...

i have to say, can't beat the feeling of peaceful living. i'm only just coming around that corner. i have neither collar nor wedding band. i miss the wedding band terribly, but then, sometimes i think the lesson i learned that put me here gives me more peace.. i found that no matter what is promised, what is expected, professed faithfulness and the even evidence of solid character over years... STILL gives no guarentee of security within a relationship. Once i truly knew deep down that i could not control any of those things or hang any expectations on the Him, i could live more free than i have ever been.

That doesn't mean i don't still slide into pining for what used to be my "due" the right to wear the symbolic band. i suspect i'll probably not ever have that back until it has completely lost all importance beyond a piece of jewelry. That might be the best thing for me... as most of lifes best lessons have gone, i think i won't really "have" the band or the collar until i really don't "Need" either one, if that makes sense.

My choice if i had it? replacment of my plain gold band. For collar, i sometimes wear two colored chains (from Wal-Mart no less!) strung together as a wrap anklet, but that's only my reminder, selected by me, not gifted.

We picked out my collar together. It is black leather with a metal ring in the front for a leash or clamps on a chain.

Master christened it before giving to me but we havent had collaring ceremony yet. Dont have day wear collar yet but we have looked at some together.

They are only symbols after all, and if you have what they symbolize it really doesn't matter,.... but a gal likes a nice romantic gesture now and again too.

Miss H brought a heavy silver chain to my collaring ceremony at a local fetish club. The only time it's been off in five years was when a nurse removed it for xrays. I usually only get to see it in mirrors.

He picked it out. Actually, both the play and the daily ones. The play one he got from a pet store but embossed it himself. The daily one is a silver necklace. The only thing I asked is that it not be a typical choker because I have a problem with things tight on my neck, can't even wear turtlenecks. Odd that his hands tight on my neck feels so good.

With my ex I feel in love with a collar and he bought it. With my new partner, I have no idea when I'll be collared. We had a long talk about what it means to me and he's decided that if he collars me he will get one custom made so that no else in the world has one like it

Hi Littleone ... My Dom wanted to get me the perfect collar. We both searched the internet, with links here to aid us. After countless hours searching, we realized that I already had my collar - a very sweet necklace that was given to me previously ... nothing we searched for could compare.
