Thinking about how to remember to put 2007 on everything instead of 2006...

Im thinking isnt it amazing how the last few days before something happens, how time slows to a crawl... but the day before, when you have al your last minute stuff to finish up, itll fly by in a wink?

What am I thinkin' about?  The same damn thing I've been thinking about 30-some odd years now: Vietnam.  We should have won that war, by God.

That war was pretty much unwinnable, SaigonHeat.  Fighting the Vietnamese on their own turf wasn't exactly as easy as everybody thought it might turn out to be.

Ho Chi Minh - the bastard.  I'd ring his damn neck if he was still around.  What do you think you know about war, son?  Have you ever seen a grown man get a stomach full of shrapnel after he stepped on one of Charlie's little explosive booby-traps?

If I could have voted for good old George Dubya ten times in a row, I would-a done it, by God.  Man, I hope we kill those foreigners real good.

Now, wait a second, SaigonHeat.  Don't you think that you might be displacing some of those negative feelings you carry with you as a result of Vietnam and putting them into a context where they don't fit?

What do we have here?: a little communist, pointed-haired little rationalizer, if you ask me.  Let's see how they'd like it if I strapped some explosives onto my body and walked into one of their fancy-shmancy mosques.  It's the same thing that the Vietnamese did to kill American troops............except they used children to complete  the dirty work.

I don't want to offend anybody here, SaigonHeat, but I don't know what we're doing over there in the first place.  These people have shown us time and time again, that, if they're left to elect their own leaders, they WILL revert to extremist Muslim totalitarians.  I say we leave them alone and let them praise their extremist God without our interference.

If we gave those Allah lovin' bastards the gift of FREEDOM, with American-style persuasion, they'd learn to take it with a grain of salt.  You can't teach your children not to fuck up by slapping them on the wrist.  You have to break out daddy's belt and show them that the U.S. of A means business.

I'm thinking about how wonderful it was to wake up in my Master's arms this morning, and how nice it was to fall asleep in them last night.  (refers to being the "spoonee"... tucked in all nicely)  *swoons*
