Hello A/all,

Does anyone have any good ideas as to how to keep dust and fuzz off of silicone dildos? I thought that after the initial cleaning of them, the "sticky" issue would be resolved, but I still find that dust collects on them. (hmmm- maybe they just aren't being used enough :-( )

Thanks in advance for any tips,
Julie

Keep them in Ziploc bags when they're not in use.

When I know I'm gong to be using my dildo I get a tall glass of water and sit it beside my bed. When I get my dildo out I just plop it in there. The water takes care of the fuzz and helps with lubracation too. Just don't drink the water :x

If you wash them a few times it'll minimize the odor a bit, but they'll never completely lose that smell. It's just one of the 'charms' of silicone toys.

Try keeping them in a box or drawer with some water based lube dried on them. It will wash allthe layers of dust right off with the lube before playinng with it :)

also as to the smell, it usualy is a Mold release agent that the manufactuers use as well as a "Shine compound" to make it "attractive" in the package.

I tend to find that DAWN dish detergent and some warm water helps as well as leaving them out in the air to dry for a few days with some good quality silicone lube on them so that it soaks in, and lets some of the odors dissipate.
